”If Tomorrow Never Comes!”

“One day, our tree of life, if you will, will be uprooted. The roots from our earthly ground will be gone, and our tomorrow will be no more. Amen.

Today, I find myself thinking about the words, “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” and how differently we would live if tomorrow never came for us or for those we love. Amen.

How would we treat them today? Right now? Amen. How would we speak to them? How would we love them? Amen. How would our day change for the better if we truly lived with the understanding that tomorrow is never promised?

One day, our tomorrows will be gone. Amen. We never know when or how that day will come for each of us or for our loved ones.

The Bible says:

“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” — Genesis 3:19. Amen.

At times, we become so caught up in life and in the busyness of living that we forget any day could be our last. When I think about this, I also think of the Scripture that says:

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” — Psalm 19:14. Amen.

Today is the youngest we will ever be. Today is the day God has given us. Today is the most glorious and beautiful gift we can unwrap, live, and love well, because today will never come again.

So I ask us all to consider our families and our lives. How are we living? What are we doing each day to show love, grace, kindness, and forgiveness to those closest to us? Amen. How are our words? How is our attitude toward them? Amen.

Life is lived only once. There are no do-overs. There is only the opportunity to do better, and that opportunity comes daily.

So let us choose today wisely in how we live, how we love, how we speak, and how we conduct ourselves. Let us put everything in its proper place. Amen.

Let us never care more about possessions than we do about people. Let us never love things more than we love our loved ones. Amen.

Again, what if tomorrow never comes?

Will you regret the life you lived with your family? Will you wish you had said, “I love you” one more time? Will you wish you had forgiven sooner, been more patient, or spent more time with those God entrusted to your life?

Most importantly, will you be ready if tomorrow never comes?

I pray we are all ready to meet our Maker. I pray we all have peace in our hearts and minds, knowing we loved our families well and truly did our very best for them. Amen.

Because one day, tomorrow will not come for every one of us. We simply do not know when our tomorrow will be gone.

Let us put first things first. Let us live with no regrets and no remorse.

As the beloved singer Garth Brooks wrote in his beautiful song, “If Tomorrow Never Comes”, reminds us to never assume there will always be another opportunity to tell the people we love how much they mean to us.

Those words have always spoken deeply to my heart because I have lost loved ones who never truly knew how much I loved them. Now I live with the regret that my deepest feelings for them were never fully expressed while they were here.

And because of that, I made a promise to myself that I would never again leave those words unsaid. I want the people I love to know, each and every day, how much they mean to me. I never want to find myself in a place where there is no second chance to tell someone how I truly feel. Amen!

So let us live today as though it were our last. Let us love beyond measure. Let us forgive quickly, encourage often, and be kind in both our words and our actions.

For love is what endures. Love is what heals. Love is what unites. Love is what honors God.

The Bible tells us that the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13. and when our lives are finished, the things we accumulated will not matter as much as the love we gave and the lives we touched.

May we leave behind hearts that have been encouraged, families that have been cherished, friendships that have been strengthened, and a testimony that points others to Christ.

Let us choose today to love well, speak gently, forgive freely, and walk humbly before the Lord.

May we have no regrets if tomorrow never comes.

For today is God’s gift to us, and what we do with today is our gift back to Him.

May our words, our thoughts, our actions, and our lives bring honor and glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen & Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
