“Off course!”

“I woke up this morning, and I’m not sure if I was dreaming or awake, but I started thinking about someone breaking into our home. Amen. And I thought, “Lord, what would I do in that moment? Would I overcome it? Would I lose my life? Would I lose my belongings?” Amen. And the answer to those questions is simply a maybe so, and maybe even a yes. Amen.

And that led me to think about our spirit-filled life, and how many of us myself included have, at times along this journey, gotten off track or off course. Amen. You’re just going along, and the next thing you know, you’re somewhere you never thought you’d be. Amen. You’re sitting in seats and eating meals that were never meant for you. Amen.

And maybe this happens because we’re not thinking about the thief. For in our natural homes, we prepare ourselves in case someone tries to break in. Amen. But are we spiritually prepared for the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy our walk and journey with the Lord? (John 10:10). Are we equipped with what we need to make sure our spiritual house is not broken into? Amen.

Our natural home is one thing, but our spirit-filled life while we are here on this earth doing the will of God means everything. Amen. It means more than all the riches in this world. More than anything. Praise the Lord!

So I want to ask us all are we ready? Are we prepared? Are we “locked in” with Christ? Do we already recognize the enemy’s schemes, his mindset, and the bait he tries to put before us? Amen. Because getting off course by letting the enemy come in and take our convictions, take our focus off Jesus, and cause us to compromise our walk that’s a serious problem.

If we begin down that path, it leads to death. Amen. For the Bible says the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). And that doesn’t just mean natural death, but spiritual death. Amen. When we neglect our spirit-filled life through our own choices, we can end up in a dry and desert place. We find ourselves in misery, surrounded by confusion and struggle, like thorns pressing in from every direction. Amen.

So I say this we must stay firmly grounded in Christ Jesus. We must deny ourselves and follow the Lord and what He desires for each of us. Amen. We cannot compare our walk to someone else’s, because each of our journeys is different. We are called to follow and obey Christ individually.

If we don’t understand that, we can easily go off course and begin following the world and its ways letting go of Jesus in the process. And then we find ourselves at a crossroad, choosing a different direction instead of staying on His path. Because God is the only way. Hallelujah. The Word says He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Amen.

So I pray that we are all running our race (1 Corinthians 9:24–27; Hebrews 12:1–2), led by the convictions God has placed in our hearts. Amen. Let the one who has stolen from us steal no more from the beautiful lives Jesus died for us to live (Ephesians 4:28). Amen.

I pray that God would set a fire within us His fire and that He would ignite a flame that consumes every scheme and tactic of the enemy (Psalm 97:3; Joel 2:3–5). Amen. That it would burn them all away. Hallelujah.

May our eyes be opened and our ears unblocked so we can hear His voice. May His anointing, grace, and consuming love overshadow us. And if any of us have gone off course, may the Lord Jesus draw us back to His will and His purpose for each of us and our lives. In the mighty name of Jesus, I ask and pray, Father, let it be done even now. Amen and Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
