“I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I’ve always had loads of questions—lots of ‘whys’ and ‘how comes.’ This has been my way for as long as I can remember. I want answers. I want to know how to do things, how to accomplish something, and how to get it done. No matter the situation, I’ll drive myself crazy, so to speak, until I think I might have an answer. But I’m learning, and I’ve learned, that sometimes we don’t get all the answers to life’s questions and the ‘whys.’ I’m learning to let go and give it to the Lord, trusting that He is in control and handling all of my questions. He is helping me, and He always will. Amen!”
We know what we need to do: pray and seek the Lord’s face, as it says in 1 Chronicles 16:11. We are to cast all our cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7) and give everything over to Him. But what happens a lot of the time, at least for me, is that after I’ve given it all to the Lord, I end up picking it back up again. I start carrying my burdens alongside me instead of trusting Jesus to take care of everything. In my mind, I think He might need help, or that I need to do something about it. Am I the only one? Because when I do this, I cause a lot of stress for myself. I create problems that aren’t even there, and what was once a small issue becomes a big one by the time I’m done with it. Amen!”
I think part of it is that we sometimes feel like we still need to act, instead of fully trusting and believing that our Father hears us and answers our prayers. But this morning, I just want to say that we can trust Jesus. He never fails us, and He loves us more than anyone in the entire world. He is a good Father, and He is in control. I always say that when we know the Lord is in control, nothing is ever out of control—not for you and not for me. Amen!”
He tells us, ‘I know you. I know your life from the beginning to the end’ (Jeremiah 29:11-13, James 4:14, 1 John 3:16). He knows our shortcomings, He knows what we can handle, and He knows where we need to be and when we need to be there. He alone orders our footsteps (Psalm 37:23, Proverbs 16:9). He holds us, keeps us, and protects us always. So, if we cast our cares on the Lord, and we are believing and trusting in Him and His Word, then let us truly let go. Let’s stop picking back up the questions, the ‘whys,’ and the ‘how comes’ of our lives. Let’s continue to pray, live life well, and trust in Jesus, our Father, to handle it all. To fix, mend, answer, and take care of everything. Amen!”
For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray. Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends, and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father. Much love to you all, Mandi!”
