“For the most part, what I’ve learned so far in life is that the only person you can control—and the only person you should control—is yourself. Amen. You see, we can’t control what others do or say. We can’t control what happens around us. We can’t control how life unfolds. Amen. We can’t force others to live or act a certain way, but we can—and should—always keep ourselves together. Amen. We should control the person we are, and never let the situations or circumstances happening around us dictate or control our lives, changing us into someone we’re not. For you see, if we allow what’s happening around us to affect us, we will constantly be up and down in life. Amen!
We’ll be so full of emotions that it will be overwhelming. But we are called to maintain our composure through it all, to pray, and to give it all to the Lord. Amen. People can be the worst when it comes to trying to get under your skin—with their gestures, their opinions, and so on, which are always being expressed. Amen. But we are not to be, as scripture says, hot or cold, up and down, or round and round. Revelation 3:16. We are to be steadfast and unmovable, and as the word says, always abounding in the work of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58. Amen. We are called to be joyful at all times, for the joy of the Lord is our strength. Nehemiah 8:10. And we should always focus more on Christ Jesus, rather than on people and their actions. Praise the Lord! When we take our eyes off of what’s truly important in life, that’s when we get distracted by the distractions. Amen. So, let us maintain who the Lord calls us to be, and not get caught up in others’ drama, gossip, or lies. Amen!
For you know, a lie is the worst thing ever. One lie leads to many more, and they stack up quickly. But this morning, my heart and prayer for us all is that we focus on working on ourselves—not our neighbors, not our friends, not our families, but ourselves. Amen. Let us all work on becoming who we need to be for the Lord. I’ll say again that working on who we are is an all-day project, so let’s strive to be better than we were yesterday. Let us live to please Jesus, walking for Him, staying focused on Him, and keeping our eyes on Him. Because, ultimately, this life isn’t about us—it’s all about the Lord. So let’s aim to please Him in what we say behind closed doors, in our thoughts, and in the words we speak to ourselves. Let’s ask the Lord to help us personally be better. Amen. Let Him renew within us a clean and pure heart, and a right mind. Psalm 51:10. Amen. Because it’s not what others see that matters—it’s what God sees and what God knows that matters most. So, let us work on being better within ourselves. For when we get better, we do better with others. Amen..for it is in His name, that I ask and pray Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends, and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi.”
