“I wonder how many of us honestly do what and anticipate the returning of our Lord?..I mean as I sit here and I am waiting for my husband to arrive home..and I am anticipating his return home..my mind begins to think of the Lord’s returning..and I go to the word of God and begin reading in the book of Matthew at how we are to watch and pray for we know not what hour our Lord will come..and it goes on to say that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming that he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up…Therefore be ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh…Matthew 24:42-44..and I would ask of us all..are we ready?..if the Lord were to arrive at our homes tonight..or wherever in the world it is that we may be this very moment in time..would we be ready to meet our Maker?..are we ready for the Lord and His coming?..for you see it tells us to be full..to have our lamps filled with oil..and having our garments be as white as snow as they can be beautiful and spotless for our Maker when He comes for us His bride..we are to be ready..for it tells us that at midnight there was a cry made..and the word says they that were ready went in to meet the bridegroom and that the door was shut..Amen..and the ones that were foolish and not ready..did not go in to meet the Maker..for it goes further down in them verses saying..”Watch, therefore..for you know not the day nor the hour when the Son of man cometh..Matthew 25:1-12..for I love the words that were written in Thessalonians that says..”But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do..1 Thessalonians 5:1-11..Amen..so let us be ready for the Marriage supper of the Lamb..let us keep that watchful eye on the eastern sky waiting and longing for that great and noble day of our Lords coming and return for us His children..Revelation 19:6-16..Amen..for even now the word says that the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth, come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely..for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ says surely I come quickly. Amen…and we say to Him..even so, come, Lord Jesus..Revelation 22:17/20..for He is coming..the day and the hour the scripture says no man knows not even the angels..it says that only God knows..Matthew 24:36..but we are to be prepared..we may not be prepared for many things in our lives guys..but my prayer and my heart tonight is that were ready to meet our Maker..that were ready to stand before Him face to face..for this life isn’t what it’s all about..this life is not our forever home..but heaven now that is our forever homes..and that is where we all should long for in our lives..more so than anything that we long for..let us long for heaven..that forever home..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
