So today at church our Pastor preached a fantastic message..and it was titled “Chosen”..and he preached out of the book of 1 Peter..and it says that we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that we should show forth the praises of him who hath called us out of darkness into his marvelous light;..1 Peter 2:9..as well over in the book of Matthew 22:14..it says that many are called but few are chosen..so for most of us the Pastor went on to say that we wait in anticipation for something magnificent or grand to happen or take place before we ever believe that we’re called or that we’ve been chosen of the Lord for such a time as this..Esther 4:14..Amen..for he went to say that in doing so that we miss so many God given opportunities to serve..to make a difference..we miss out all because we wait..and we feel as if we’re hoping for more than what the Lord has already given..Amen..for I know that the word of God says that whom the Lord calls He as well equips..Romans 8:30..but anyways our Pastor went on to say that when you know that you’re called and you know in your heart that you’ve been chosen of the Lord..then daily you get up and take a step closer to the Lord..daily you should always be doing something that will draw you closer and that will be extending out God’s love, joy and peace to all in whom that we’re around..it is always our act of obedience that will keep stepping and keep stepping towards the things of the Lord..and by doing so we change and we grow..but not only ourselves but as well them ones in whom are around us..Amen..for all of our hope should be that we are pleasing the Lord in what we do..in all that we say..in the way we live..to the way we treat and act others..for you see being chosen is a beautiful thing to ever grasp..to think that the Lord of all hand picked you and I and that He calls us by name..that is the most beautiful and the most glorious thing ever to me and my heart..Amen..so today know that you are chosen of God..and that God has plans already mapped out just for you and your life..for He knows the beginning of our lives all the way to the end of them..so we get up knowing that were walking and living to please our Father in whom is up there in heaven..that we are His hands and His feet..and that each of us I pray we never forget that everything we do no matter how big or how small that it is matters and matters greatly to the Kingdom of heaven..so don’t disregard the life you live or them things in which you do..for I love the scripture in the word of God that says..you’ve been faithful over little I will make you ruler over much..enter though into the joy of the Lord..Matthew 25:23..and what a glorious and marvelous day that will be..Amen..so know that God has equipped you and has enabled you and you personally for the work that is at hand..so be obedient and be faithful..and always know that everything you do..you do unto the Lord and not unto man knowing that from the Lord you will receive your increase and your inheritance..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
