So today I woke up and decided at that moment that I was not going to go anywhere..Amen..and I haven’t..Praise the Lord..and it feels so good..I honestly couldn’t tell you last time that it was that I had spent the whole day at my home just enjoying my home..I don’t know about the rest of ya..but I love being home..it is my safe haven..it is a very peaceful and quiet place for my family and I to rest..for many are always seeking a place to go or something to do..but how many of ya know that really we don’t always have to be doing something..we can keep it simple in our lives..we can live honestly to goodness the life that we ourselves are wanting to live..but as well home is that place as to where we can get things that need to be taken care of, taken care of..instead of always putting things off..or feeling that we always have some place to be or somewhere else we need to go..because rest is such a beautiful thing..for in the books of Hebrews, Psalm and Matthew it speaks of us resting in the Lord..Hebrews 4:9-16/Psalm 37:7/Matthew 11:28-29..and we should always take the time to do so..society has gotten our generation on this constant go..we always speak of them good ole days..but in reality we can have them now in our lives..just because everything around us is changing doesn’t mean we have to go with the flow..we can still porch swing in the evening time..we can still bake that cake for our dessert after supper or even make that apple pie..we can grow them gardens..we can go and can up our vegetables and fruits..we still can do so many wonderful things to make our homes and our lives a very special place to be..a place that’s like none other..for our home represents us..and my heart is always on my family and my home..don’t get me wrong we all like to go from time to time..but as well I pray we also stop and take time enjoying our gifts that the Lord has given to each of us in our lives..for guys we all work hard to provide and take care of our homes…so why not take a day or even two to enjoy the fruit of your labor..by enjoying your home..enjoying your life..for we shouldn’t always have to be going to feel as if we have to go in order to have a good life or even a good day..Amen..so create your oasis..create a beautiful space for your loved ones and yourself to enjoy..and take time to slow down and just live and rest..just live in the moments..live in the now of our lives..and be able to live with the satisfaction of knowing that if we’re privileged enough to be home that we take advantage of it..for you see some want to be home but they can’t..for they have to visit loved ones daily at the hospital or even in them nursing homes..for some they work seven days a week never no time to stop and relax..so if you can do so then go ahead and do so..cook that dinner..watch that movie..take that bubble bath..read that book that you’ve been wanting to read..just steal away and rejuvenate and refresh..your body, your soul, and your mind..for once again life is a very fast paced moving thing..so if we don’t control our lives..then life will somehow control us..so let each of us slow down..because I really don’t want to miss anything..and I pray you as well don’t..for by taking care of ourselves we much more able and capable of taking care and helping others take care of themselves..for we can’t give away to anyone else guys what we ourselves don’t have..and peace and rest is two great things in life that helps us to live a wonderful happy filled life..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
