“So last night when Erik and I got home..I began really deep cleaning on the kitchen..or as some would like to say doing a little spring cleaning..but either way it took me over two hours none stop cleaning..and you better believe it was filthy..and honestly I’m not exaggerating..I mean I know that it needed to be cleaned really good..but I just really couldn’t get over all the dirt and grime that was covering my floors..and my cabinets..so of course you all know probably where I’m going with this..so the thought always takes me when I do anything in my life is straight to the Lord..and I began to think you know God that I do clean my kitchen daily..and I sweep and mop..and wipe over things..keep the dishes done up and what not..but to get really into that deep cleaning..that I don’t do all that often..usually because schedules and just life in general with all that needs to be done daily..I think well I’m keeping it somewhat tidy and neat..it isn’t that bad I tell myself..but in reality it was…so of course I think about my prayer life and the time I spend with Jesus..and all of that..but I began to think how many of us get to that deep cleaning so to speak with the Lord..the kind of cleaning that goes further than that surface cleaning..you all know what I mean..the kind that gets all corners of our hearts and our lives..the kind that makes us get serious about who we are with the Lord..the kind that makes us want to rise higer with Christ..that kind that takes them old ways and them old thought patterns and changes us..and grows us into them beautiful souls for our Lord..for you know guys scripture says be ye perfect as your Father in whom is in heaven is perfect..Matthew 5:48..it tells us to keep our robes spotless..keep them white..fresh, pure and holy before the lord our God..Revelation 6:11-13..for He says be ye holy, for I am holy…1 Peter 1:15-17..Amen..for I believe that we all would be really surprised if we began working on them homes of ours..the kind of cleaning that changes us..not as to where we are the same…but the kind that raises us up to victory..the kind that grows us up..and the kind that makes us stronger more beautiful than we’ve ever been..that deep cleaning is where it’s at if we desire to be more for our Lord..the surface is one thing in and of itself..but that cleaning that takes place and transforms us..is the cleaning that we all should be yearning and desiring for the most in our lives..for God will changes us and does change us from glory to glory..for last night my kitchen sure looked clean and it usually always does..but even after all of that cleaning that I did..I go and get my husband because I was really so proud of how clean the kitchen was..and I say to him, honey come and look at the kitchen..and he walks in there..and he says what is it?..and I say look at how clean it is..Lol..and he says it always looks like this..so the point of it all is that yes it may look a certain way..but it still can be dirty..Amen..that’s why we here so many say don’t judge a book by it’s cover..but guys in our lives and in our worlds..each of our worlds we want clean..we want to be the best we can be for the Lord..we don’t want anything to be there in our lives that shouldn’t be..we want renewed and we want to be cleansed..we want refreshed and refueled..we want to be the best that we can be for our Lord and Savior..so it takes us doing our part..and it takes a little work and effort on our part..but in the end it is so worth it..so let us keep our homes..them spirit filled homes cleaned all up and cleaned all up at all times..don’t let our robes get tarnished..or let them get a little dingy..but lets keep them white..for remember the word says it’s not what’s on the outside of the cup that defiles..but it’s what’s on the inside of that cup..Mark 7:15..Amen..for out from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks..Matthew 12:34/Luke 6:45..and we want to please Christ with our thoughts and what we do as His children..for once again it’s not about what people know about me or you..but it’s all about the Lord and what He knows of me and you..and we want Him to be pleased above all else..for this life has nothing to do with you or with me..but it has everything to do with our Lord Jesus..for it’s all about Him and Him alone..so let us rise to be the best we can be for Him..for we are His vessels..we are His hands and His feet..so let us stay washed always having that inward man lining up with that outward man of ours..for that’s where it’s at guys in all of our lives..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
