So last night while at work I had mentioned to one of my other co-workers that they do a fantastic job there!..and in return he said you know that I’ve learned in my life that when I realize that I am working for the Lord and not man..and that I realize that anytime in life whether at work or at home when I get to thinking I’m bored or I have nothing to do..then that’s when I’ve taken my eyes off from the Lord and placed them upon me!..He goes on to say that when this takes place well nothing good comes from it..for I am looking at me and what I’m needing..and what I’m wanting..and my focus is on self..in return he says when you do this you get miserable..because it is self and not edifying what the Lord would be having for you to do..and isn’t that so true guys..for you see when we are to be like Jesus well first thing is our eyes should never be on us..for many go on and on all about them..it is this me, me, me attitude..what can others do for me..why don’t others do this for me..why am I not getting the attention I need..why am I the only one..and on and on self that self-righteous attitude and spirit goes..for then guys were not doing like our Lord first and foremost..becausee Jesus, as scripture says came to serve not to be served..Matthew 20:28…the Lord, the bible says went about doing good..Acts 10:38..and doing good all the time..for I can tell ya really fast that others are in a constant need of someone being able to help them or do something to bless or encourage them..for you see if you’re not happy today in your life..then I would ask of you to take your eyes off from you and your life..and place them eyes of yours upon the life of another..bless someone..reach out and love someone..reach out and hug them..speak life into their life..look for ways to be a blessing..don’t wait for something to happen or take place or for someone to ask of you to do something..just consider them and do it..could be something as simple as a phone call just to say you love them or that you was thinking of them..Amen..could be a nice dinner out..could be a walk in the park..could be baby sitting your neighbors or your families kids so the parents could go out for an evening to spend time as a husband or wife..could even be going to the nursing homes and blessing someone there..Amen..for there are many things we can do each of us and daily do for the Lord..for the Lord is needing us to go and do something..for the bible say faith without works is dead..James 2:14-26..we can say all day long..but doing and saying are two different things guys for we have to do other than say to get anything accomplished..so today and every day that follows you go forth looking for someone to help..yesterday in particular I was rushing around trying to help my husband get his things ready to leave for a trip and I was trying to get myself ready for work..and as well cook dinner..but I had to run to the store first..and while I’m leaving the store there was this older woman whom came to me carrying this tiny jug for gasoline to go in..and she says to me could you take me to get some gas?..and at first I said no because the gas station was just on the other side of the grocery store..and really nowdays you can’t just pick up a stranger and place them in your vehicle that wouldn’t had been very smart of me..so I let her know where it was..so anyways she thanked me and walked away..but as she was walking away I noticed her legs and her feet..and she wasn’t quite able to walk very well..so I pull up beside her and I said, Maam I can go get you some gas and bring it back to you..so I go get the gas, and the gas can she gave me didn’t have a lid on it..so I couldn’t put it in the back of our truck for it would have spilled out everywhere..so I place the gas can on my lap and back across the road I go to give it to this nice lady..but the point of it all for me saying this..is as I was doing it..I thought to myself sometimes you have to stop doing what your doing to do what the Lord is wanting for you to be doing..because yesterday I was focusing and busy with my family and our life..but when were listening for the Lord..and were hungry and were desiring to be used of Him..He is going to test us..He is going to see if we will stop along the way to help..regardless of what were doing..just to see if we will be obedient..Amen..for you see sometimes the things that the Lord asks of us isn’t always a clean circumstance or situation..it isn’t always a nice one or even a easy one to say the least…but I guess my question is are you willing to get your hands dirty for Christ?..are you willing to go that extra mile for our Lord?..because God is needing men and women like that good Samaritan man whom stopped along the way picked that man up in whom had been robbed and beaten..and carried him to an Inn to be taken care of..for you see them others passed by him..but this man he listened and he stopped..he obeyed the voice of the Lord his God..Luke 10:25-37..Amen..so let us always once again keep our eyes open..always be ready to bless..and always be ready to help..for I know, that I know, without a shadow of a doubt that our Lord Jesus would stop and go regardless..for He followed His Father and His voice..no matter where God would send Him..He went..even to the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.Matthew 4:1-11..but even so regardless of that..our Lord Jesus chose to go..He didn’t have too we all know this..but He did it for you and He did it for me..so surely we can do and go where He would ask of each of us..for once again this life isn’t anything to do with me or with you..but it has everything to do with Him..for it’s all about Jesus..Amen..so let us change the way we look at things and the way we look at things will change..let us look with eyes as the Lord would see and look..other than the way we may choose to look and see..for I believe only then will a difference be made..and only then will change and change for the better begin to happen and begin to take place for each of us in our lives and in our worlds..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be
