So since I’ve started working again..I’ve kind of not cleaned per say as I normally do..so on my days off I catch up..I always do the basic things every day in my home..but on my days off I do all the other things..like wipe the baseboards throughout the house and really dust, clean and sweep under things..other than sweeping around them or even mopping around them..but since I’ve started at Chick-fil-A..one of the hostess there while he was training me told me, Mandi always keep this place as if you knew that any minute now we were getting ready to have a huge bus come through..in other words..make sure everything is cleaned..stocked up..and organized..that you’re ready for them to come..not rumbling around..making them wait for something..He said just always be prepared and be ready..and that as well is the way I’ve been taught my whole life while growing up..my mommy always told my sisters and I that your home represents you and what you stand for..she would say always have your dishes done up..your bathrooms clean..your refrigerator clean..and the trash out and the laundry done..because she would say you never know when someone may just suddenly drop by your home…and if it’s a mess well that’s what they’ll always remember about you and your home..even though you are not that way..so for me I have had this principle installed there since I was a little girl a long time ago..in which case I am so thankful that it was instilled in me..so anyways today as I’ve been cleaning and what not I have thought about this things..and I always think of Jesus..and ask myself..Mandi are you ready?..are you ready to meet the Lord?..because no one can answer that question for any of us other than ourselves..and daily I do my best to always stay ready if the Lord were to call me home..I always think of the scriptures in the word of God that says be ready for you know not the hour when the Lord is coming..Matthew 24:44..for it says He is coming like a thief in the night..1 Thessalonians 5:2..that one day we will see Him in the clouds..Matthew 24:30/Mark 14:62/Revelation 1:7..so as far as being ready..I think about the 10 virgins and at how some had their lamps filled up with oil and others didn’t..Matthew 25:3..and maybe because like us we always think that we will have plenty of time to fill them up..so we linger and we do everything else other than taking care of them lamps so to speak of ours..but guys let me say that sometimes there is no tomorrow..and sometimes there isn’t any more time to do them things..that we know we should..so today my prayer and my heart is that you personally know without a shadow of a doubt that you are ready..your ready to go to heaven to live forever and ever with Jesus..Amen..for heaven is our forever home..this world here is not..so look and long for that day..always keep your lamps trimmed and filled..for once again guys..when we aren’t right within our own selves..we can’t be right with others..for the scripture says that if we walk in the light as He is in the light we will have fellowship one with antoher..1 John 1:7..so stay close to Jesus..be ready to meet Him..and always be prepared if by chance He came this day and this hour that we’re in to call us on home forever to stay..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
