With all of this rain that were having here this afternoon..I keep singing that thanking the good Lord above that I am anchored and secured in Him..that I am no longer bound by the sorrows of this ole world..that I am no longer in bondage to sin..that I am free and yes free indeed in my Lord..that His security is mine from now until forever more..that fear has no room in my life or in my heart for all doubt from the unknown has vanished..for being anchored and secured is the most rewarding victory that we can have here in this world in which we live..knowing whom we are in Christ is the greatest victory for us..knowing that our Lord is a very present help in time of need..Psalm 46:1..knowing that He is ever with us..knowing that He is there regardless..knowing that His peace and rest is ours for the taking..for Jesus our Lord lives on the inside of us..for in the book of Romans it says this unto us..”That if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For many are led by the Spirit of God, and they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father..for the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”..Romans 8:10-16..”for Jesus told us in His word that it was expedient that He would go away for He says if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you..John 16:7..and whom is the Comforter?..the Comforter is the Holy Ghost of God..for it tells us in the book of John that the Father will send the Comforter in His name..and that he will teach us all things, and bring all things into our remembrance, whatsoever He has said unto us..John 14:26…so to know that Christ our Lord lives in us..that brings and should bring great freedom and liberty for us all..for you see God is a spirit the word says and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth..John 4:24..Amen..for you see over in the book of 1 John it says that there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one..1 John 5:7..and in the book of John it tells us that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…John 1:1..so as children of the Lord we have to know that were anchored in our Lord..we have to know whom we are..and we have to know the word of God..for in the book of Hosea it says, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:”..Hosea 4:6..for we are to study the bible it says to show ourselves approved unto God..a workman that needeth not to be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth..2 Timothy 2:15..so to know Him and to know His word is to be secured and anchored in Him..for the song that says it very well is this..”I’ve anchored my soul in the “Haven of Rest,”I’ll sail the wide seas no more; The tempest may sweep over wild, stormy, deep, but In Jesus I’m safe evermore.!”…Amen..so to know Him is to love Him..and to love Him is to rest in Him..so let us rest..and let us trust and let us always let go and let God do in our lives everything it is that He alone so desires to do..so let us trust in the Lord..for God is our Anchor of Hope..God Almighty is our everything that will ever need and so very much more..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
