So for the last few days I have been meaning to buy some toothpicks..and of course if you guys are anything like me you as well have to make your list and write down them items that your needing from the store..but I kept telling myself that I didn’t need to because I would remember..but needless to say I would go out and back home only to find that I hadn’t at all remembered..and by now you guys are probably thinking okay, Mandi what in the world does toothpicks have to do with anything?!..so today I am in the kitchen and I’m cooking and I noticed that my salt and pepper shakers needed to be filled up some..so I get in the cabinet to fill them and as I was getting ready to rearrange the spices in my cabinet because I had used all of the pepper while filling the shaker..so as I was rearranging them there I couldn’t believe it, but there they were..a huge canister full with a box of toothpicks..and mind you now that I get in there every day probably 10 times a day getting different things out..but what got me was the fact that I hadn’t even noticed them or did I even see them..so I begin to take my mind to the Lord and I think, Father isn’t that how we all are at times..everything that we have need of or have a question for in our lives is there staring right at us day in and day out..which to say is our bibles..Amen..and of course the Lord for He is with us always..but somehow we miss the fact when troubles come..or heartaches come..or needs are there in front of us..or maybe were sick..or even maybe were struggling in our life in how to deal with certain things or certain areas..and we see that the bible is there and that the Lord is there..but we do and go everywhere else other than where we should..because what we’re having need of is always there right in front of us..just as my toothpicks were there already provided for..maybe that’s why I didn’t write them down..who knows..but either way guys I pray we always remember and that we always know that Gods word is there to answer every question and every concern or problem it is that we have..for Gods word it comforts us..and it speaks volumes to us and our lives..but as well I pray we never forget that Jesus is there with us always..for He promises to never leave us nor ever will He forsake us..Deuteronomy 31:6..for He says that He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother..Proverbs 18:24..so whatever your need..whatever your hurt..whatever the questions may be in your life right now in this moment that we’re all in..I pray you know that right now you have everything you need..for the Lord is there..and as well your bible is there..so take a moment and pick it up and just read through them pages..it’s amazing at what love comes from Gods word..but whatever you do don’t feel that you have to go somewhere else to purchase something to get answers that you need..for your answers is right there in front of you..there only a whisper and a prayer away..so let us all be still and let us all know that the Lord alone is God..and that He alone is all that will ever need, or ever want in all of our lives..for He alone is our everything and so very much more..for scripture says that He is our bread when were hungry..and He is our water when were thirsty..John 6:35..for He binds and heals all them broken hearts..Psalm 147:3..and of course we all know that great and honorable scripture in the word of God that says..He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed..Isaiah 53:5..for you see I could literally go on and on about who all the Lord is and what all He does and can do for each of us and our lives..if only we do our part and seek Him..and love Him..and take time to read His word..for Gods word is honestly to goodness a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathways..Psalm 119:105..so let us seek the Lord while He yet still can be found..Isaiah 55:6..calling on His name for it all..for it’s in His name that every knee one day will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord..Philippians 2:10-11..for I will say it again and again..until my dying die..that there is no God, nor is there no one, like our God nor will there ever be anyone like Him..for He is Lord and He can do anything, anywhere and anytime that He alone chooses for you and your life..so let us praise His name, for His name is worthy of all praise, love and adoration..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
