Do you all realize just how blessed we are to have people in our lives that hold us accountable for the things that we say and do..for the way that we act..because honestly those people that are in your life like that are your treasures..Amen..as for me I have a quit a few to say the least that will immediately correct me and call me out if I do something or say something or even act a certain way..and those people would be of course my husband..he does not let me slack nor does my son..they will tell me very quickly if I’m not doing something that is right..but I as well have my mom and my Randy they will do the same when there around me if I am living a certain way or doing a certain thing..they will ask me what do you think your doing?..lol..so my point this morning is this..if you have a few people like that in your life you are immensely blessed..because they keep you in line and keep you in check..because if we don’t get corrected we begin to fall back and many can even backslide in the midst of the wrong doings that they may be doing..but when someone corrects you or even calls you out so to speak that just means they love you..and those people don’t care whether or not you do get mad at them..but how many of ya know that just like the Lord whom He loves He as well corrects..Hebrews 12:6/Proverbs 3:12/Revelation 3:19..so I love when I do get corrected out from love..because it helps me to stay grounded..Amen..and we need that kind of love..just as parent when correcting their kids they do it because they love them..Amen..so be careful with whom the company that your keeping..for you know I like those ones that tell me like it is..those ones that aren’t afraid to say something to me when it needs to be said..those are the people that we need in our lives..the ones that don’t just tell you what you want to hear..but they tell you what you need to hear..Amen..for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God..Romans 10:17..for the word of God says that iron sharpens iron.so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend..Proverbs 27:17..so today take time to thank them ones that love you enough to correct you..other than letting you drudge down a pathway that you have no business being on..for that my dear sweet friends is true and wonderful love..and we all need that kind of love in our lives..so let us correct from love and let us tell them ones we love when we see them falling..or doing things that we know is no good for them..when we see their actions are turning for the worst..and we see their attitudes getting pretty ugly..let us love enough to speak of it with them..for I believe that when we do it helps people to grow and mature in the Lord..and it helps them to be better with the Lord..for we can’t do our own thing..and we can’t disregard our actions..for especially if them actions are ugly ones..so be that friend whom loves enough to correct your friend..don’t be that friend that just tells others what they want to hear..but be that friend bold enough to ask or to call them out on a certain somethings, whatever that may be..for then we will know that our friends love us enough to tell us the truth..for we all know that it is the truth that corrects and sets us all free..John 8:32..but with no correction..comes grown adults that whine, murmur and complain..and as well grow up to be children other than being an adult..so let us all grow up in the Lord and grow up in changing to be better for the Lord..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
