So yesterday I began looking for my fork..and I know you all are probably thinking a fork Mandi?!..but yes a fork..this fork means a lot to me..and it is my favorite fork to eat with as well as I do have my favorite spoon..but the reason being is about 19 or 20 years ago my mom had given them to me..and as well she gave me two more forks but there different then mine..mine has flowers on it..and the other two have straight lines on them and those two are Erik’s and Anthony’s..but back to the fork I had lost..it was about to drive me crazy because I couldn’t find it..so anyways today I look in trash can..and I’m like Lord I know that my fork has to be in there..so I go and get in the trash and I find my fork..it was in a container where we had ordered food..and the container got closed somehow with my fork in it and to the trash it went..but I was so excited and happy that I found it..and so I brought in and in the sink it went with bleach..lol..but the point of it all isn’t it something when we lose something that is close to us..even the formaliaty of something as simple as a fork..because when we lose something that means something to us it’s like losing a piece of who we are..but I always seem to think about the word of God and the parables that were spoken there in Luke..and how it says..”What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”..Luke 15:4-10..because I wonder how many of us can think of our families and friends and think about whether or not they be saved..and think about whether or not there lost in this world..and I ask myself what do I do any different?..do I pursue them?..do I tell them enough about the Lord our God?..do I live my life in front of them enough serving God as to where they hunger and thirst for the Lord?..because one is enough!..Amen..for even if there were only one of us..God our Father..our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ would’ve still chosen to go to Calvary for just one..Amen..so today think over your life and your family and friends and be sure to keep searching for them and looking for them and always telling them of the Lord..spreading the gospel to all that will hear..for just one is enough guys..for I love the song that says this..”Because if just one more soul were to walk down the aisle it would be worth every struggle it would be worth every mile a lifetime of labor is still worth it all..if it rescues just one more soul..Hallelujah..for were all on a mission..and our mission is to tell others of God and His unending and amazing grace..for once again guys this life isn’t anything to do with you or me..but it’s all about who lives inside of us..and that would be our Lord Jesus..so tell of His goodness..tell of His love..and tell of all of His wonderful grace that He alone has given to whosever will..Romans 10:13/Acts 2:21/Joel 2:32..Amen..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
