“Keep your light burning!”

So last night I was in the kitchen grabbing a bite to eat and I didn’t turn on the over head light..the only one that was on was the one under the sink..so it was pretty dim in there and I really couldn’t see all that well..but I just kept on fumbling around in there not paying that much attention..and then I thought to myself why didn’t you turn the light on..you always turn the light on..so I did, I went over and turned the light on and when I did the whole kitchen got so bright and light up..and it just really made me happy..for I love light..but of course I began thinking about us and how we ourselves are suppose to give light unto others..how the word of God says that we should be salt and light in this world..that others what we have should make others so desire and thirst for that living and true water of our Lord and of our Savior..but how many of us go around and never let our light shine..we never turn it on so to speak..for the Lord says therefore let your light shine unto all men..that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven..Matthew 5:13-16..for you see just a little light is all that it takes to repel away that darkness and as well in the Lord there is no darkness..1 John 1:5..so I pray that we always remember to turn our lights on..Amen..that we always remember that we are to represent the Lord in everything and anything it is that we do as children of the Lord..that we are good “Keepers of the Light”..just as those wonderful Lighthouse Keepers are..for when we give our light that we have within us that light guys shines on others and gives them light and gives them hope..so let us shine our little lights always and forever, never to let them dim and or ever to let them burn out..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
