“Cuts heal but words scar for life!”

We all have gotten cuts and wounds in our lives…and they do hurt when we get them that’s for sure..but over time the hurt and the pain from those cuts and wounds that we’ve had they do heal and we forget all of that pain that we once was in..kinda reminds me of the scripture in the word of God that speaks of a women when she has given birth and her hour has come how she forgets all of the pain and anguish she once was in during labor..John 16:21..and that really is true our bodies on the outside can heal up pretty quickly and we can face many different things in life..even in the most intensified surgeries that we can still manage to go on and move on in our lives and we don’t remember all of that hurt and pain that we once had suffered and had to endure…but things that don’t heal so well in our lives and in any of our lives is words..we can remember everything that anyone has ever spoken or ever said to us..we remember actually the bad more so than the good that has been spoken..and what’s so funny is we believe the bad that others have said about us more so than the good that has been spoken..for guys words are the worst ever in our lives..they can make us or break us..we can build up someones life by the things we say or we can tear down their lives all by what we say..I know there is this quote that goes like this..people we rarely remember what you say to them but they’ll never forget how you made them feel..but that’s not so..because people remember everything that anyone has ever said to them…we don’t so much remember how they made us feel..so today the word says that death and life are in the power of our tongues and they that love it will eat the fruit thereof…Proverbs 18:21..it as well goes on to say that the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison, Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be…James 3:6-10..for it goes on to tell each of us in God’s word that we are to not let any corrupt communication proceed out of our mouths, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers…Ephesians 4:29…so today my prayer is that each of us choose very carefully them things that we are saying about anyone..and that we choose very carefully at how we are speaking and talking to our families and our friends..because words are the worst..so be wise with what you say..and once again if you don’t have anything nice to say or good to say I pray you choose to say nothing at all..so be a light guys..be a help..be a friend..and more than anything be an encourager..In Jesus’ name, I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
