This morning I seen this flower growing all by itself…no other flower was growing with it..it was just there in the midst of a bunch of dead weeds..and grass..but even with all of that stuff all around it..it still decided for itself that it was going to grow..and grow beautifully to be what the Lord intended for it to be…which is a beautiful and glorious flower..for the flower was made to be just that a flower..Amen…so of course my thoughts this morning are pointed towards us God’s children..we all have a purpose and we all have a great plan from God..we all were born for such a time as this..so the bible says that whom the Lord calls He as well equips..Hebrews 13:21..so for some they never grow into the beautiful person that the Lord intended for them to be all because of their surroundings and their circumstances..they stand still in the midst of the trouble that may be there around them…or the problems that is there all around them…and so excuses begin to form in their minds as to how will they ever…I mean look around me can’t you see the mess that I’m in…can’t you see the problems…how in the world am I going to grow and be what God wants for me to be..when I am surrounded by so much distress…so many troubles…so many problems…so the person before even beginning gives up..and gives in…let’s down their guard..and so in their mind they have already defeated themselves..for we know that the bible says as a man thinks so is He..Proverbs 23:7..for we know if you think you can..you can…Amen…but if you think you can’t..then you can’t…but today I’ve come to remind just a few of ya..who knows maybe all of ya…about the story of Joseph..and at how his brother were jealous over him and took him out to kill him..but instead they sell him..and they go back to their father and tell him that Joseph is dead..and Joseph ends up in Pharaohs kingdom..and the Lord was with Joseph..and the Lord’s favor rested on Joseph..so he ended up taking care of all of Pharaohs house..until one day Pharaohs wife decides that she is going to lie on Joseph and so she tares her robe and acts as if Joseph was trying to pursue her..and in which case he wasn’t…so he gets thrown into jail..there he stays..long story short Pharaoh had a dream and no one in the land was able to interpret that dream only Joseph..so Joseph gets out of jail..and Pharaoh ends up setting Joseph ruler over all the land of Egypt…Genesis 37-41…but the point of it all is that Joseph grew where he was planted and he did so because he knew that God was with him..so he didn’t give up and he didn’t get distracted and so through all of that mess and through all of that heartache and distress that Joseph faced and went through…he held on..and kept going..and so in the end he was set ruler over all of the land of Egypt..and was blessed by the Lords hands…and in turn when the famine came he was able to save his household…and was able to help his brothers and his father in their time of need..for we serve a good God and guys wherever any of us are at today is the place where the Lord intends for us to be..so we keep on growing keeping our eyes on Jesus..and staying full of the Lords grace and love and unending mercy..Amen…and in the end we will bloom and blossom right where we’ve been planted..for we have to know and understand that Gods ways are not our ways..and that God’s thoughts are not our thoughts…for His ways and His thoughts are much higher than ours..Isaiah 55:8-9…for the bible says this..For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end…Jeremiah 29:11..so we never give up under pressure..nor the problems that we see with that natural eye..for we know that God is in the midst of them..and that God knows where we are…Amen…so we keep on, keeping on..always and forever trusting and leaning on our Lord..In Jesus’ name..I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
