‘What’s your complaint?”

So today I went over to the dmv and had to take care of a few things..and so I am there for a while to say the least..and I get through the line and I thought well that wasn’t so bad..I am practicing my being patient skills..and so as I am leaving to head back towards the house..Erik, calls and ask if I had given them the right information about the insurance..and of course I didn’t do that..because I didn’t know I had too..so needless to say I had to make yet another trip back over to the dmv..and yet once again wait in the line..the very long line..so the first time I was there I had talked to a really nice couple…and now I am back in the line again..and as I am standing there this really kind lady comes to stand behind me in the line..and we smile at one another..and we go on through our line..step by step..till we reach the door and the lady begins to talk to me and show me her phone..and she says look what happened to my phone today..and it was completely busted up..so as I am looking at it I noticed that it had a protective case over there screen…so I take the phone and I pull off this protective screen that was on it..and that lady was so excited when she watched me pull it off from her phone and her screen was perfectly normal..not one tiny scratch on that screen of hers..and so reaches over and gives me the biggest hug..and she begins to tell me how it happened..needless to say she had been at the hospital all day with her daughter of only 41 years of age..and her daughter has breast cancer and as well her daughter has an 8 year old little girl..and she said she had placed her phone in the window of her car for directions on how to get to the hospital..and somehow her phone slid out the car window and she thought it was gone and she would have to buy a new one..but anyhow I stood there listening to this very kind lady and she goes on to say that they had been in testing all day to make sure she doesn’t carry the gene for mutation so the Doctors will know how to begin treating this cancer..so I stood there and she says I lost my husband 3 years ago..and I am from Arizona but my daughter decided to move here to Winston and so I myself moved here to be with my one and only daughter and grand daughter…and she says boy did the Lord know where I needed to be..so as she is saying all of this to me I am thinking to myself at really what is my compliant?..I begin to say what is it Mandi that is your biggest complaint?…and I honesty guys didn’t have anything to say…or anything to complain about..so as I was thinking about that treaded trip to go back to the dmv to stand in line..here I meet this lady that has done been through the mill today..and completely heart broken for her one and only daughter..you know when we begin to hear and look at the lives of others and what they face and daily face..really what is our complaint?…what is it compared to others and their lives that we should have anything to complain about…we just kind of get upset over silly things..in comparison to what others are honestly to goodness dealing with..so I of course begin speaking about this life and that this life isn’t our home..and was asking her if her daughter was ready if by chance she was to be called home..and the momma said yes she is so ready if she was to go on to be with the Lord..so today I know that life as I wrote this morning it is a gift and we ourselves have to choose to open up our gift from the Lord..for life is way to short to live it ungrateful…unappreciative or unthankful…for the word says this is the day that the Lord has made so let us all rejoice and be glad in it..Psalm 118:24..so we choose what type of day we have..and I pray we all are choosing to focus on the good in or lives..and that we are choosing to love our families..and our friends…love our neighbors..I pray we choose to live our lives if by change someone where to go on home that we have no regrets with no one in our lives..that there is nothing but love between us and our fellow man…because we never honestly know guys when a storm may be presented to us…or what we may have to walk through or go thorough here on this earth…so stay focused on the good in your life..stay focused on the love in your life..and always let us be thankful.. for the bible says that is the will of God conceding each of of us..1 Thessalonians 5:18..Amen!!..shining and living our lives for the Lord..being the best we can be where we are at in our lives..for today my be the day that the Lord could call any of us on home..so be ready..for this life and this ole world isn’t our home were just pilgrims and strangers passing on through..for yet once again we all know the saying to be kinder than necessary for everyone we ever will meet in all of our lives are fighting some kind of battle..so shine the light of Jesus..just a smile and a kind word speaks volumes to others in whom are hurting..we all need to give away what we have..for we help one another and we should all be helping one another in this thing that we all call life..living our lives to the fullest guys…In Jesus’ name..I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen…Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
