A lot of you guys know that my husband is an owner operator, over the road truck driver, and for the first part of it all when he started, Erik, myself and Anthony we all went together as a family..we homeschooled Anthony and it was fabulous, as to which it still is fabulous!!…but for the past few years Anthony and I don’t go as much, but thats all because our son is now older and he is beginning his life..so I split my time up between my husband and my son..but a lot wonder about mine and Erik’s relationship and how do we do it…being away from each other sometimes for long periods…and first off I will say well we have God in our lives and the Lord gives us strength to do what it is that we have to do…so there is a lot of prayer….and secondly I would say that we stay connected…from the moment we get up in the morning until the moment we lay our heads down at night..we are constantly and continually texting, skyping, sending pictures, sending songs, and talking to one another all day long…so that should answer a lot of questions about how we do it…the point of me saying all of that is this, that connection is the key…to any and all relationships…but the number one relationship and key to stay always connected with and that is Jesus Christ…if we don’t stay connected then we will begin to slip in our fellowship with the Lord…daily we have to go into our secret place and spend time with our Father..1 Thessalonians 5:16-18…we have to go and get filled up…we have to go and fellowship and love on Him..for the Lord desires our worship and our praise..Psalm 22:3…but more than that God is a jealous God for us His children…we can’t place other things in our lives ahead of Him..Exodus 34:14…He has got to be number one…the Lord has got to know that we love Him…for when we are with the Lord, then that is the place where we find rest for our minds, and strength for our journey…when we pray it does wonders for our souls…it fills us up and gives the assurance that everything is gonna be alright because God is working…Romans 8:28…so today my thoughts are simply this, don’t let any of your relationships fall by the wayside so to speak….because guys the devil his whole purpose is to steal, kill and to destroy us..John 10:10…any and every way that he can…so make those phone calls…give them hugs…take time to go and visit…invite your friends and family out to dinner, or to come over and hang out with ya…but whatever you do don’t let silence form in any of your relationships…because when relationships grow quiet than relationships will end…so make sure you guard your home, guard your marriage…guard your friendships…guard every single one of your relationships…and more than anything guard your unity and fellowship with Jesus Christ our Lord..for I can’t help but think of the scripture in the word of God that says this,…But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up..Matthew 24:43…so keep that watchful eyes over all areas of your life…and my prayer is that we all choose to stay connected…don’t let our power sources, those lines of communication fall short in any area of our lives..but let us stay hooked up, continually and always…for we need one another, and more than anything we all need the Lord…so let us all stay connected guys…In Jesus’ name I do ask and pray…Amen and Amen!!! Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi
