“How will you respond?”

“Faith is one of those tricky things indeed. Amen. It is one of those things that, in the moments of our lives when life throws us a curveball, we must ask ourselves: How will we respond? in which case how will you respond? Amen.

Because here is the thing about life and our responses to it, we can choose, in each moment, how we will respond. Amen. If we respond in a fearful manner, then guess what? We will always respond that way. Why? Because we train ourselves to respond that way. Amen.

It is kind of like a baby or even a puppy. They learn how to get our attention, and they know how to get a response from us. They may whine for a moment, and often we give in and give them what they want because we do not want to hear the whining. But that is not so much the case when it comes to the enemy. Amen. He wants us to whine. He wants us to be fearful. He wants us to be afraid and to respond exactly in that manner.

And what does that do for us? Not much of anything other than ruin our day, ruin our attitude, and weaken our trust in God. Amen.

I am reminded of the Scripture when Jesus entered into a boat to go to the other side, and His disciples followed Him. And a great storm arose upon the sea, and it covered the boat but Jesus was asleep. And the disciples came to Him and woke Him, saying, “Lord, do You not care that we perish? Save us!” And the Lord said, “Why are you so fearful, O you of little faith? How is it that you have no faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying, “What manner of Man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” (Matthew 8:23–27; Mark 4:35–41). Amen.

So this morning, that is what I want to ask us all: How will we respond? Because the storms of life are always coming. Amen. They are not going to stop. Every day brings something that can or cannot happen. But here is the truth Jesus is there. He already knows. And He already has a plan to work it together for our good. (Romans 8:28). Amen.

For the opposite of fear is faith. Amen. And the Lord says if we have faith as small as of a grain of mustard seed, we can speak to that mountain and tell it to be removed, and it must go. (Matthew 17:20-22). And the Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6). Amen.

So knowing Him and trusting Him go hand in hand. That is the key to victory and to how we respond to the unfortunate events in our lives. So we choose, in the moment, to calm ourselves and to speak life and truth over the situation whatever that may look like for you. Amen. Do not give the enemy anything, no matter how bad it looks with our natural eyes. We walk by faith, and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7). Trusting in our Father, King Jesus. Amen!

For He is the Mighty Warrior. He is all-powerful. He can do anything, anywhere, and any time For He alone is Lord! Amen. For you are His child. And there is nothing our Lord will not do according to His perfect will and love for you.

So know how much you are loved. Know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper in the name of Jesus, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment the Lord will condemn. (Isaiah 54:17). Amen. For greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4). Amen.

It says in the book of Psalm, “How precious are Your thoughts toward me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You” (Psalm 139:17–18). Amen.

So let us remember who we are and to whom we belong. Amen. Do not bring woe into someone else’s battle. Instead, be the one who brings peace, comfort, and encouragement. Do not speak doubt or unbelief, because words are powerful. In Matthew it says that Jesus did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief (Matthew 13:58). Amen.

So we guard ourselves in the battle. We stay watchful. We remain steadfast and focused on God and on who He is and what He alone can and will do. His love is amazing. His eyes are always open. He never slumbers nor sleeps. (Psalm 121:4). Amen.

For I know the Lord will make a way for us all. Amen. For He is faithful, loving, and kind to the very end.

So let us respond well, representing our Father and what we believe and what we have built our lives upon which is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. For He alone has already won it all for you and I. It was finished that day on the cross of Calvary. Praise the Lord!

So rise up, child of God. Take your stand in the presence of our Father. Stand firm with your whole armor on, knowing that He has you, that you are His, and that nothing can or ever will separate you from Him. (Romans 8:31-39). Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
