“Yesterday was the beautiful day of Valentine’s Day, and as I was reading in my Bible about love of course, I always go to 1 Corinthians and yesterday I saw it in a different light. Amen. I mean, I always read it, and maybe sometimes I read it quickly and just pass by it. But yesterday I slowed down while I was reading it, and the words rose up, if you will, off the page. And I thought, wow, if only we truly understood God and His love. Amen.
Because our human minds can’t truly fathom God’s love to the fullest extent. I mean, we know He loves us, but to really know that is something our carnal minds can’t fully grasp, because we try to compare God’s love to earthly love and it’s not at all the same kind of love. Amen.
And at times, we are really hard on ourselves. We want to be that perfect person and do the right things and say the right things, and so forth. So we don’t really give ourselves grace as we should. Amen.
But the word of God say this:
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:4–8). Amen.
But as I was reading it I thought, well, God is love. Amen. (1 John 4:8). So I changed the way I was reading it. So I said this instead. Amen.
God is patient. God is kind. God does not envy, God does not boast, God is not proud. God does not dishonor others, God is not self-seeking, God is not easily angered, God keeps no record of wrongs. God does not delight in evil, but God rejoices in truth. God always protects, God always trusts, God always hopes, God always perseveres. God never fails. Hallelujah!
And I mean, my oh my, that changed so much for me in my heart. Amen. Because we read that passage of Scripture and we think of ourselves, and we try to measure up to that. Amen. And in that case, we should try our best. But again, we are not perfect humans, and the Lord knows this.
But He is perfect, and the Bible says that He is upright in all of His ways. And as far as us and our righteousness well, those are like filthy rags. Amen. That’s why we need grace daily. We need God daily. We need forgiveness daily. And we need the armor of God daily. Amen.
For without the Lord our God, we cannot do much at all. Oh, but with Him, we can and will do great and mighty things for Him and His Kingdom. Praise the Lord.
So let us know that we are loved and we are loved by a perfect Father. King Jesus is His name. Amen. We are the apple of His eye (Zechariah 2:8), and He holds us, He keeps us, and He always and forever protects and strengthens us.
For He is a wonderful and marvelous Savior. And He alone is truly Love and His love is unconditional love. Amen!
So know that His perfect love is covering you and daily loving on you. For you are His child and He alone is your Father. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
