“What’s the point?”

“This morning, as I was going through my home and doing my routine, I began thinking about our roles in life and the reason why we do the things that we do. Amen. Because if we don’t know what that reason is, then we don’t really have a point, so to speak. And then we begin to ask ourselves, “What’s the point?” Amen. I have heard many people say this very thing.

But here’s the truth for us all the point of our lives of anything and everything we do it is to do it all for the glory of God and to be holy like Him. That is our purpose. Amen. The Bible tells us that whatever our hands find to do, we are to do it with all our might (Ecclesiastes 9:10), knowing that we are doing it for God and for His glory. Amen. It also says that whether we eat or drink, or whatever we do, we are to do all to the glory of God and not for man (1 Corinthians 10:31). Amen.

In other words, if we are doing what we’re doing for the wrong reasons, we won’t do it well, nor will we stay consistent. Amen. We will let it slack and allow it to fall by the wayside.

I was reading yesterday where it says that we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. It goes on to say that we faint not. Amen. Though our outward man is perishing, our inward man is renewed day by day. Hallelujah. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working in us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:8–9, 16–18). Amen.

So when we consider the point of life when we ask, “What’s the use? What am I doing? Does this even matter?” I pray we understand, and that it sinks deep into our hearts and minds, that we are doing everything, every day of our lives, for the glory of God and for eternity. We are doing it for heaven. We are doing it for God, for His Kingdom, and for His glory. We are doing it because we are His, and He abides in us. Praise the Lord!

So what’s the point? The point is to do well in this life, to run our race well, and to do it for God and His glory. The point is to store up our treasures in heaven. For the Bible says that where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:21). Amen.

So let us do well here. Let us run our race faithfully. And with everything our hands find to do, let us do it unto our Father and not unto man, knowing that from our Father we will receive our prize that ultimate reward of eternal life, righteousness, and the fullness of Christ. Hallelujah!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
