“The line must stop!”

“I tell you, this podcast I’ve been listening to has been wonderful. And yesterday’s episode was so true Amen. It said this, If you don’t draw a line and stop moving it, then there’s no place where the line is ever going to stop. Amen.

In other words, what are your convictions in life? And do you compromise those convictions? Where is your line, and where does it stop? Amen.

For example, you may say you don’t like all the cussing in movies, yet you still go to the movies with your friends. They sit there indulging in it, and you’re not for it whatsoever because we don’t have to cuss to get our point across. Amen. But you stay in the movie because, well, it’s okay..it doesn’t matter all that much. Amen. So in turn, you let your values fall down and you compromise for friends, rather than standing firm in your convictions.

Or maybe it’s gossip. You can’t stand it, but yet again, you’re just sitting there indulging among those who are gossiping. And instead of getting up and removing yourself, you once again indulge. Amen. And again, you let your values fall down and you compromise.

You get where I’m going with this. Amen. And so in turn, the line doesn’t really stop, because we keep letting it move along further and further. Amen. And how many of you know that it is the one bad apple in the basket that spoils all the others? Amen.

Convictions look different for all of us. We are all at different stages of growth in life, so we can’t judge another. But we also cannot compromise what we already have been convicted over because of people, because of fitting in, or because of friends. Amen. We are to please the Lord with our lives, and we are to be obedient to what He wants from us. Amen.

The pastor said this: We cannot poison the well and then complain about the water. My, oh my. Amen. Because we all, as children of God, have a well of water springing up inside of us. Amen. (John 4:14) And we have to guard that well of life. We’ve got to keep it unclogged and running freely. Hallelujah.

We do this by that line that invisible line in our lives between us and the Lord. Amen. We don’t let that line just keep moving. We draw the line, and we stand firm on it. Amen. We’ve heard the saying, draw the line in the sand. Praise God!

Because the Lord says no one can serve two masters, for either they will hate the one and love the other, or else they will hold to the one and despise the other. We cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)

And again, over in the book of Luke: He that is faithful in that which is least the bible says is faithful also in much; and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. And again it says, No servant can serve two masters. (Luke 16:10–13) Amen.

It also says that if we are willing and obedient, we will eat the good of the land. (Isaiah 1:19) Amen.

So for us all, I pray that each of us takes our line and draws it making that point where it stops and that we do not let it go any further. That we hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering. (Hebrews 10:23) Amen.

Because what we believe and stand on matters just as much as the next person. Amen. So let us not let our convictions in life be compromised by anyone else. Let us truly seek to please that audience of One which is Christ Jesus our Lord.

May we truly go about being salt and light in this world. (Matthew 5:14-16). Truly making a difference where we are being who we are for the Lord rather than letting the lines of our lives simply keep moving, never stopping, always just letting things be, instead of standing firm in our walk with Christ.

Because at the end of the day, it’s between you and the Lord your obedience to Him, and His will, and His way for you and your life honoring Him with all of who you are. Not letting your well get poisoned with the world and the things of it, and then complaining about the clogged, messy, stinky, stagnant water flowing from it. Amen.

So guard yourself and all of who you are. For once again, the heart is a precious gift, and out of it flow the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23). Keep yourself pure, holy, and righteous. Keep your line and your point, wherever that may be for you. And again, hold fast to your personal convictions from the Lord our God.

Don’t let go of who you are not for one single second but be faithful to the very end, following the leading and the guidance of the Holy Spirit speaking to you His child. For He knows what’s best for each of us, and when we don’t listen, we do suffer the consequences of our own actions and choices.

So let our wells always be springing up with clear, refreshing, smooth, crisp water that everlasting water Jesus gives us. For that is life to us, and healing, and freedom, and everything in between. Praise the Lord!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
