“For many of us, we may forget just how truly awesome and incredible the gift of prayer is in our lives. Amen. How powerful it is. How it gets the hands of God moving all around us. And how it opens His ears to us. Amen.
The Word says, “In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and He heard me” (Psalm 120:1). And again, “Call unto Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).
And let us not forget Elijah, who prayed that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months (James 5:17). Praise the Lord.
And of course, we all know the great and wonderful story of Daniel how King Darius made a decree that for thirty days no one was to pray to any other god except the king. Yet Daniel, known for his faithfulness to God, continued to pray three times a day, facing toward Jerusalem. Amen.
And when King Darius found out, he had Daniel thrown into the lions’ den. But God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths. Daniel spent the night unharmed, and as I like to say, he had a nice, cozy, warm place to sleep right on that big ole lion! (Daniel 6:1–28). Amen. Because that is just the kind of God we serve.
And let us not forget the thief hanging beside Jesus on the cross. In all sincerity, from his heart, he said, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus answered him and said, “Today you will be with Me in paradise” (Luke 23:42–43). Praise the Lord.
It is truly amazing what prayer can do for us and through us in everything that concerns our lives. When we pray to the Lord, God hears, and He answers. He delivers, frees, heals, restores, and changes things. He binds up wounds, heals brokenness, and sets captives free. For prayer is truly what changes things. Amen.
The Bible tells us that the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. When we are persistent and sincere, God steps in and begins overcoming whatever the obstacle may be guiding us, changing us, helping us in every single way. Praise the Lord!
Only through prayer can our lives truly change for the better. Only through prayer can we grow, learn, and gain the wisdom we need from our Father, King Jesus. Amen. Only through prayer do the scales on our eyes begin to fall away so that we can see clearly. Hallelujah. Only through prayer are our hearts molded, softened, and made pliable, so our Father can shape us into everything He desires for us to be. Hallelujah.
The Bible also says that God’s Word does not return void, but it will accomplish what it was sent forth to do in our lives (Isaiah 55:11). Amen.
So let us not get angry or spend our days fussing and trying to fix everything ourselves. Instead, my heart and prayer for us all today is that we find our place and pray to the Lord. As the saying goes: Pray on it, pray over it, and pray yourself through it. Amen.
For God hears, and yes God answers. He is faithful to the very end. Amen!”
For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
