“Walking the path of Obedience!”

“So I was watching one of my dearest friend’s reels that she had made, and it was absolutely fantastic. Amen. She said this: “We are here to prove our obedience to God, because obedience will have you doing things that makes no sense at all.” Amen. Then she laughed and said, “Kind of like walking on the water.” Amen.

She went on to say, “Remember, peace follows obedience.” Praise the Lord. And of course, that got me thinking about how the Word of God says that obedience is better than sacrifice meaning that listening to and following God’s commands is more important to Him than performing some act or religious ritual (1 Samuel 15:22). Amen.

Because sacrificing something is, to say the least, pretty easy. But obeying oh my word that is where we truly step out of our boats in life. Amen. Obedience is honestly, at times, the hardest thing when it comes to obeying the Lord, even though we all tend to think we do. Many times, we fall short. Amen.

Because God speaks to us every day every waking minute of every hour. He is speaking to us through our minds and through our daily lives, as we go places, do our jobs, in our homes. He will ask us to do something, to say something, to go somewhere, to buy something for someone, to not do something, to avoid certain places there are so many things. He speaks to us about how we dress, how we respond, how we eat, how we love. And as He speaks, we are to hear, we are to listen, and we are to obey. And in that, peace follows us. Hallelujah.

We think of the scripture in John where the Lord speaks of giving us peace. How He promises that His peace He will leave with us, and that we should not let our hearts be troubled or afraid. He tells us to rejoice and to believe. Amen. But if we continue reading the scripture to the very end, this is what it tells us: “As the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do” (John 14:27–31). Amen.

In being obedient to the commands of the Lord, the peace He offers us always follows behind our obedience to Him, His will, and His call that He alone has placed on each of our lives. So always remember and always know that the peace we are often searching for is always available to each of us through obedience, through our listening, and our willing hearts towards our Father, King Jesus. Amen.

For peace follows obedience, and walking the path of obedience is a personal, one-on-one relationship with our Lord. Amen. So let us be obedient to the Lord. Let us live good lives while we are here in this big ole world in which we all live. And in turn, we will live peaceful ones. Praise the Lord!

This does not mean that chaos will not happen or that sickness will not come, but God will give us a supernatural peace that rests inside of us a peace that only truly comes from Him and Him alone. As it says, “that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do.” (John 14:31). Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
