“Trust is probably another word we throw around, much like we do with the word love. As a society, we often say it, but we don’t always hold fast to the conviction of truly trusting others. Many of us, myself included, have had our trust broken many times in life. And because of that, we tend to close ourselves off. We don’t open up, and we don’t share much about our lives, simply because we don’t trust. Amen.
Yet everything in life especially relationships is built on trust. Trust is the foundation that places us in good standing with one another. When trust exists, there is stability, security, and peace. Amen.
When I think about life in this present moment and the many seasons we all go through, one thing I know about myself is that I like to know what’s ahead. I like to know the outcome. And maybe many of you feel the same way you want to know what lies ahead and whether everything will work out. Amen.
But when it comes to the Lord, we must trust Him. Deep in our hearts, we must know that He is trustworthy. Amen. We don’t see the whole staircase of life. We don’t see the entire puzzle being put together. We don’t naturally know the beginning from the end. We are simply in a stage of trust. And every day, we place our trust in the Lord. By faith, we take the next step in our lives.
And trusting can be hard at times I know that firsthand. But knowing that God is faithful and that He will never fail us is the key to overcoming in our lives. As the lady shared yesterday morning at church, we are not called to live with a victim mentality. Amen. We are overcomers. We have God’s grace on our lives. We have the Lord’s favor upon us. We have His faithfulness working in and through us. We are covered. We are protected. We are children of the Most High God. Amen.
But in this season of my life, God is truly expanding my trust in Him. He is calling me not to live in a victim mindset not to stay in yesterday or dwell in the past but to rise up and become all that I am called to be in Him. Old mindsets do not create new life or new positions; they keep us stuck in old ways. Amen.
So I have come this morning to remind us all that when we pray, God hears us and He answers. We can always trust Him, for He is faithful to the very end. We are overcomers. We are not our past. We are not who we once were. We belong to the Lord. We are held. We are loved. We are the apple of Almighty God’s eye. Amen.
Scripture says, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will trust in the name of the Lord our God.” (Psalm 20:7). Amen.
So my prayer for us all is that we do not live our lives in chaos, turmoil, and strife constantly second-guessing the Lord and struggling to trust Him. Instead, may we walk in confidence, knowing what the Word of God says about us as we build our lives daily on the solid rock of our salvation, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For He alone is our firm foundation. The Word says, “The rain came, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded upon the rock.” (Matthew 7:25). Praise the Lord!
So trust yourself, and trust the prayers and tears you have cried over your life and your family. And then trust the hands of Almighty God and His faithfulness and His love for you. and in that, may we rest. May we let go of every burden, every heartache, every worry, and every weight that presses on our minds. May we place it all into the hands of the One who is able to do far above anything that we could ever ask or think, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
And in that, may we rest. May we lean in. and may we trust Him and all of who He alone is. Amen. For God our Father is not a man that He should lie. for He is perfect and He alone is upright in all of His ways. (Psalm 25:8). Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
