“Talk to Him!”

“For many people, they will say, “Do you have anyone to speak with or talk to, to unload the burdens you are carrying?” Amen. They’ll say, “Maybe you should seek counseling or talk with a trusted friend, someone you can pour your heart out to and let go of those heavy things weighing on your heart and mind.” Amen.

But even in the help others try to give, there is often a part of ourselves that says, “There is no way I am pouring my heart and soul out to a person.” Amen. Because how many of you know and can testify to the fact that people let you down, and at times people can hurt you far more than they ever help? Amen. Not everyone, don’t get me wrong but we’ve all been let down. Many have taken the things we’ve shared and twisted them, added to them, or used them against us. Because of that, we don’t really open up or trust many people in our lives. Amen.

But what I want to say to us all is this: life does get heavy and overwhelming at times. Sometimes it feels like you are in a fire that just won’t go out it only keeps getting hotter, like the three Hebrew boys who were thrown into the fiery furnace. Amen.

But what I also want to say is this we have a Heavenly Father. just as those boys did. He was with them in that fire! (Daniel 3:8-25). Amen. For this past year and a half of my life has been a little crazy, to say the least one thing after another. For me, I pray all the time. Amen. But I cry all the time too, and I am learning that crying isn’t getting me anywhere. Amen. It doesn’t change what’s happening in life. It can actually wear you down affecting your immune system, your mindset, everything. and again, we must be very careful not to let tears consume us and cause us to sit down and become numb in our lives. Amen.

My son Anthony says this to me, mom “You need to simply talk to God. crying isn’t going to help you it’s actually hurting you.” Amen. And I’ll tell you, that is the truth. Because how many of you know the enemy will get us stuck in a routine? If we do things daily and respond the same ways daily, we keep repeating those patterns. whether those patterns are good ones or bad ones we will follow suit so to speak. Amen.

And I thought about it and realized who better to talk to than the Lord? Amen. To truly talk to Him. Because God is our Counselor. He is our help, our healer, our mender, our forgiver. He is all-wise, all-powerful, and all-knowing. He knows us He formed us and created us. He knows exactly what needs to be mended and fixed in our lives. He knows where things need to be put back together in our lives. Amen.

For He alone is the best listener. He alone is the very best Friend and Father we could ever have. I once heard a pastor say, “Grab a chair, pull it out from your kitchen table, and invite the Lord to sit there with you for a while.” Amen. And talk to Him. Hallelujah.

I also heard another pastor friend say that many of us need to unload and talk in order to bring healing into our lives. But she also said, “Be careful who you talk to.” Amen. Make sure they are willing to weep with you and help bring healing to what you are sharing.

For many, the healing process takes us back God reveals things from childhood, from school, from words spoken over us, from life in general, from hurts and disappointments, from health struggles, finances, and the renewing of our minds. Amen. He brings wisdom, direction, and restoration.

For the greatest gift we can give ourselves for healing and restoration is Jesus and simply talking to Him. Amen. Truly casting our cares on Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).

For the Bible says, “In my distress I called upon the Lord and cried unto my God, and He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry came before Him, even into His ears” (Psalm 18). Amen. He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy and from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me. The Lord was my stay. He brought me into a large place and delivered me because He delighted in me. Amen.

As for God, His way is perfect. He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock except our God? It is God who girds me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like hinds feet and sets me on high places. He teaches my hands to war so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms. He enlarges my steps under me so my feet do not slip. Therefore, I will give thanks to the Lord and sing praises to His name (Psalm 18:6–49). Amen.

So this morning, I want us all to know that God is with us and for us. I want us to pull out that chair, sit down, take our time, and simply talk to Him talk to the Master, the Savior of the world. Talk to the One who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ever ask or think. let us talk to our Father. let us all talk to Jesus! Amen.

For God loves us with an everlasting love. And we need to release our cares and burdens, we need to ask for wisdom, and ask the Lord to make us wise. Amen. For He says He has made us wiser than the enemy (Psalm 119:98). Amen. and we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). So let us seek Him while He still yet can be found (Isaiah 55:6). Amen.

I love the song that says this:

There is coming a day when no heartache shall come,
No more clouds in the sky, no more tears to dim the eyes.
All is peace forevermore on that happy golden shore—
What a day, glorious day that will be.

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face, the One who saved me by His grace..and when He takes me by the hand and leads through that promise land..Oh, what a day glorious day that will be..they’ll be no sorrows there, no more burdens to bare, no sickness, no more pain, no more parting over there, all is peace forevermore on that happy golden shore, Oh, what a day glorious day that will be. Amen.

So I wanna say this to us all. Leave them there, leave them there. take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there. if you trust and never doubt He will surly bring you out, take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there. Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
