“This morning, I saw the most beautiful picture of a sheep being anointed with oil, and I immediately began to think about how the Lord anoints us with oil. The Bible tells us that our cups overflow. Amen.
That He alone is our Good Shepherd that we shall not want. That He alone makes us lie down in green pastures and leads us beside still waters. That He alone restores our souls and leads us in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. And even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for the Lord is with us our Good and Great Shepherd. His rod and His staff, they comfort us. Amen.
That He alone prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. That He alone anoints our heads with oil, and our cups truly do run over. Hallelujah. It says that surely His goodness and His mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives, and that we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23:1–6). Amen.
And isn’t it such a beautiful thing to reflect on the truth of of Gods word that our Father anoints us with oil? And that oil symbolizes God’s protection, abundant blessing, and honor over us. It is a gift of lavish hospitality poured out over us, His children. It signifies deep refreshment and divine favor, leading to an overflowing cup of blessings in every area of our lives. Amen.
It speaks of spiritual healing and mental peace, and it reveals the unseen realm of the Spirit that we have been chosen by God, that we are children of the Lord. Amen. For we are covered not only by the oil of our Savior, but also by His precious blood that flowed down from Calvary for you and I. (Hebrews 9:22/John 19:34). Amen! For we are His, and He alone is ours. Praise His name!
So this morning, I don’t want any of us to ever forget that God never leaves us nor forsakes us. that He always has us covered and protected. that He alone is love, and His love is with us every single day of our lives. Amen. that He is faithful always, to the very end. Hallelujah!
So we can trust our Father. We can trust in His unmoving, faithful hands over us, His children. He is a mighty God, and He alone is in control of it all. He is Lord, and He alone is Creator. Amen.
But at the core of it all, the powerful meaning of Psalm 23 opens our eyes to just how deeply God provides everything we need. Our personal care, love, peace, and our protection through every trouble and every trial it is that we face or will ever face. Amen. For though we may walk through the valley, we have a Savior who is with us, who has called us by name, and who knows us. (Isaiah 43:1). Praise the Lord!
So we hold on through it all, trusting in that unseen hand of mercy and grace the sustaining, all-powerful hand that pours His oil over us, His sheep, anointing us even now with everything we need for this day. We are covered by Almighty God.
So let us rest today knowing that God is in the midst of Israel, as He declares to each of us, “I am the Lord your God, and there is no other; My people shall never be ashamed” (Joel 2:27). And if God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31). Absolutely nothing and absolutely no one. Amen.
So know that you are anointed, know that you are called, and know that you are covered by the hands, love, and grace of our Father. And King Jesus is His name. Hallelujah!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
