“We all remember those multiple-choice tests we took in school. Amen.
For some of us, we were actually excited about them because even if we didn’t know the answer, we at least had a chance. Amen. I don’t know about you, but I didn’t study much in high school. I was too busy doing life or at least I thought I was. Amen.
When you don’t study, you really like the fact that there are four choices right in front of you. So we all knew what we did we would “eeny, meeny, miny, moe” the answer. Amen. Sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didn’t. But now that I’m older, I’ve wished a thousand times over that I had just studied, because I really was a pretty smart girl. I could learn fast when I would apply myself. Amen.
But this morning, I was thinking about life. About how we always want things done fast and very fast. We want life to happen for us quickly because that’s the society we live in now, everything quick and convenient. But here’s the thing God doesn’t work that way. With Him, it’s not instant. He will test us and try us by the fire of life, so to speak. Amen.
It’s not a quick process with the Lord. I saw a post that said, “If you feel like you’re in a dark place and being tested right now, just remember the teacher is usually quiet during the test.” Amen.
But really, do any of us want to be in a place where we are not equipped or ready for the job or task at hand? Probably not. Amen. When we know what we’re doing, life is better, we are better, and the work gets done better. Amen. We all want to be used and to do great things with our lives. But if we are not prepared, can you imagine the mess we could get ourselves into? Amen.
I think about David how he was called 20 years before he ever became King (2 Kings 14:2). and in those years, he was tested and tried. Amen. He spent much of that time running and hiding from King Saul, who wanted nothing more than to kill him. Amen.
And let us not forget Joseph, who spent 13 years in prison for something he did not do (Genesis 37:2; Genesis 39). Yet Joseph still had to pass his tests before he was released and appointed ruler over Egypt (Genesis 41:16). Amen.
But here’s the truth we must pass our tests even when life is unfair, even when life is unkind, even when everything seems to be falling apart or failing. We want to do what is right always. We want to be shaped and formed on the inside into everything God needs us to be for Him and His glory and His calling. Amen.
So let us pass our tests, whatever they may look like. Let us rise in victory in every area of our lives. Amen. Let the thief steal no more from us or from our futures. Amen. Let us throw away yesterday and its sad stories. Let us stop being negative and dwelling on what was. Instead, let us rise and believe what God has spoken over you and over me. Amen.
Let us know who we are and whose we are. If we believe in the Lord, then let us truly believe no more going back and forth, hot and cold. Let us be steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). rising up in victory. Amen!
Let us not be like the man who sat by the gate called Beautiful, making excuses for his life and why he wasn’t healed yet, saying no one would help him (Acts 3:2–6). Amen.
So I do pray that we know where our help comes from. and that we look up into the face of the Lord and receive the help we need in our times of need. For the Bible says that in God’s presence there is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11). Amen.
My heart and prayer for us all is this may we pass our tests. Let us rise, endure, and pass the test. Amen. And let us not grow weary in all of our well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
