“Life is truly made grand by the simple things in our lives from the smile of a stranger, to the hug of a child, to reading a good book, to quiet moments alone. From the breeze of the wind, to the sun shining on our faces, to lighting a candle in our home. From the touch of a loved one, to singing, to laughing. Amen.

For our lives begin the moment we rise in the morning, and they are filled to the overflow with all of God’s goodness. As (Psalm 68:19) reminds us, He alone blesses us daily. They say that when we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change and isn’t that so true? If we choose to see life in a negative way instead of a positive one, then life will appear exactly as we choose to view it.

Many people see things from different perspectives, simply because of how they choose to look at them. As for me, I always notice the clouds, for they remind me to look up in my life and pay attention to the Lord’s beauty and all of His goodness that He has given. Amen.

For our lives are blessed daily blessed by so many simple things, but we must choose to see them. We must choose to see the good in all things rather than always focusing on the bad. We all have this life to live, so why not choose to live it well? Why not choose to live it happy? Amen.

Our lives are a beautiful masterpiece put together by our Lord and Savior. He chose our life for us, and He orders our steps daily, as we are reminded in many scriptures in the word of God. (Proverbs 16:9) (Psalm 37:23) (Proverbs 20:24).

So let us appreciate life. Let us not murmur or complain, but instead begin this New Year that we all are moving into 2026 by becoming excited over the simple things, over everything in our lives. Amen!

No matter how big or how small. For we all have to start somewhere in life, and if we are not happy over the little that we have, what makes us think we will ever be happy with more? Things never truly make us happy for long anyways. Amen.

And always remember and always know that happiness begins within. It is an inside job it has nothing to do with what is happening around us. So choose life, choose happiness, and choose to be grateful and thankful for everything in your life. and choose to enjoy the simple things. Amen!”
