“So yesterday morning, as I was getting into the car to leave for work, two of the crows that I usually feed every morning flew right next to my passenger door and just sat there staring at me. I looked over at them, and kind of like a dog they don’t speak, per say, but you can tell what they’re wanting. Amen. And I said to myself, ‘They want their bread.’
Honestly, I hadn’t thought about it at all because I was busy with other things. And it was raining and very cold. So I got out of the car, grabbed my house keys, and went back inside to get them some bread and not just any bread, but the good sourdough bread. Then out the door I went again, into the field, tearing the bread apart to feed those sweet little crows. Amen.
They’re not afraid of me. I think they’ve been adopted into my family because I’ve fed them so much. They just stood there watching me throw their bread out, and as I walked away, I told them, ‘Okay, there you go. You can eat now. I’m sorry I forgot about you guys—enjoy,’ saying it as a little joke. Amen. And that’s exactly what they did they hopped over to the bread and began eating. Praise the Lord.
But this morning, I’m writing all of this to remind us that we need not worry about our tomorrows or even our todays. I’m reminded of the Word of God that says, ‘Consider the birds of the field; they neither sow nor reap, yet your Heavenly Father feeds them.’ It tells us not to worry about our lives what we will eat or drink or what we will wear for the Lord knows we have need of all these things. Instead, we are told to seek God, His kingdom, and His righteousness, and all these other things will be added unto us.
We can’t add anything to our lives by worrying, for the Scripture says, ‘Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.’ (Matthew 6:26–34). Amen.
For one of my favorite songs says this:
Consider the lilies, they don’t toil nor spin,
And there’s not a king with more splendor than them.
Consider the sparrows, they don’t plant nor sow,
But they’re fed by the Master who watches them grow.
We have a Heavenly Father above, with eyes full of mercy and a heart full of love. He really cares when your head is bowed low—so consider the lilies, and then you will know.
It says may..I introduce you to this friend of mine who hangs out the stars, who tells the sun when to shine, and kisses the flowers each morning with dew. Oh, but He’s not too busy to care about you. We have a Heavenly Father above, with eyes full of mercy and a heart full of love. He really cares when your head is bowed low so consider the lilies, and then you will know. Amen.
So my heart and my prayer for us all this holiday season is that we fear not what is to come nor what we have or don’t have in our hands. But I want all of us to look up into our Father’s face. My sister Judy sent me a video the other night that said, ‘You have enough. You have more than enough.’ The only thing you need to do is take what you have and place it in the Father’s hands. Amen. And let Him and His favor rest upon it.
Because our Lord has everything we need, and He alone can do anything, anytime, and anywhere He chooses, for He is Lord and Lord over all. Just as He took the five loaves and two fish and fed the multitude. The disciples brought what they had and placed it into the Father’s hands, and the Father blessed it, broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and the disciples gave it to the multitude. And they all ate and were filled, and they gathered twelve baskets of fragments that remained. Hallelujah. Scripture says there were five thousand men, besides women and children (Matthew 14:15–21). What a mighty God we serve..Amen!
So I say this. Let us pray, trust, and have faith. Let us take no thought for our lives, for the word says I have never seen the righteous forsaken or God’s seed begging for bread (Psalm 37:25–26). Amen.
So think about my crows and how God cares so much to feed them that He spoke to me, His daughter, to get out of my car and go get that bread and feed those crows. Amen. In the same way, He cares for each of us. He loads us up daily with His benefits, His goodness, and His blessings (Psalm 68:19). Hallelujah. so we need not worry nor do we need to stress for our heavenly Father will and always has taken care of us. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi 🐦⬛❤️
