“Make God’s voice the loudest!”

“I always send a few things out to my family in the morning, and today I sent one that really hit home for me. It said, “Let God’s voice be the loudest one you hear.” Amen. And I thought, man, if only we were truly listening to God and not just hearing the world everyone with their opinions, their likes and dislikes, their thoughts about life, how we should live, what we should do, how we should act, and so on. Amen.

Because here’s the thing: we may think we’re listening to God and only His voice but often we’re like Samuel. The Lord kept calling him, yet he kept running to Eli, thinking Eli was the one speaking, when it was the Lord all along (1 Samuel 3:1–10). Amen.

We do the same thing. And many times, it’s not that we don’t know who is calling us it’s simply that we don’t want to obey what the Lord is speaking. Amen. We put off the very thing God has been wanting and needing us to do. So with every passing week, month, and even year, we remain in the same place because we refuse to be obedient to the one thing God has asked us to do. Amen.

We don’t let God’s voice be the loudest in our lives. We don’t hear and obey as we should. And in the end, we are the ones who suffer the consequences for our disobedience and for not responding when God speaks.

The Scripture says, “My sheep know My voice, and they follow Me; and the voice of a stranger they will not follow” (John 10:5, 27). And the Word also tells us to be sober and vigilant, because our adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).

But here’s what we must remember: he does not come with an evil appearance no red outfit, horns, or pitchfork. The Word says he transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). He calls what is bad “good” and what is good “bad” (Isaiah 5:20). He tries to get us to compromise our beliefs and second-guess what we know is true, just as he tried to tempt Jesus in the wilderness. And Jesus said, “Get thee behind me, Satan” (Matthew 4:1–11).

So yes, this journey with the Lord is personal. We each have our own path to walk, and God is speaking to every one of us to be where He wants us and do what He has chosen for us. Amen. For before the foundation of the world, He chose us in Him—that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. He predestined us to adoption as children by Jesus Christ, according to His good pleasure and will (Ephesians 1:4–5). Praise the Lord.

Following is hard. Obeying is hard. Hearing and truly listening can be hard. But you will hear His voice. You will feel His nudging. You will know what He wants from you. So do the thing He has asked of you. Be obedient to the Father, and let us be about His business, not our own. Amen.

For at the end of it all, we want to stand before Him unashamed, knowing we never took His grace for granted or abused His love and forgiveness (Romans 6:1–2). Instead, we desired to please Him making God’s voice the loudest voice in our lives as we journeyed through this big ole thing we all call life. Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
