Yesterday, as Erik and I were putting up our manger scene in the front yard and I was going throughout the house changing the flags and wreaths on the doors from fall décor to Christmas décor, I kept thinking to myself, “Lord, this is exactly how our lives are.” Just as the seasons change every single year, the same is true for us. We, too, change and grow with every season.
Just as we go through the hot, fiery months of summer, at times we also walk through what some would call the fiery furnace of life. But in that furnace we are purified and refined as pure gold. And the same is true in the cold winter months that are on us now. We, too, experience seasons that feel dark, lonely, and cold. Yet even in those winter months, things are being reborn and remade. Things change in the cold times of our lives, and when we come forth from them, we see more clearly what life truly has to offer. Our eyes are opened beautifully to the world that God has given to us. Amen.
As we move out of winter and into spring, things begin to blossom and bloom again in our lives. It’s then that we recognize the beauty of it all the beauty of life and the gifts that God has blessed us with. It changes our perspective. For with every season, there is always a reason. Amen!
But what I want to say to all of us is this: no matter what season you may be in at this moment in your life, I pray with all that is within me that you hold fast to the Lord our God. Draw everything you need from Him and Him alone. And regardless of the season, give Him all the glory and all the honor for everything the good, the bad, and the ugly. Bask yourself in His presence, for in His presence there is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). Amen.
One thing I do know is this we may go through the drought, the fire, the flood, the sickness, the pain, and many sufferings and hard times—but we do make it out, one way or another. We survive it all with the help of Jesus. Amen.
So let us not lose sight of the fact that this world is not our home. The Bible tells us that we will have many sufferings here because this world is fallen. Heaven is our goal the beautiful and glorious streets of gold (Hebrews 13:14). Here on earth, our purpose should be to honor the Lord and to give Him all of our love every day of our lives. The Word says, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him” (Job 13:15). Amen. For once we truly know Him, we know that we can call on Him, and He will answer us and show us great and mighty things that we do not know (Jeremiah 33:3). He alone is Lord and Creator of all. Hallelujah!
So we rejoice in every season of our lives because God is living in us, He is for us, and He is with us always. Everything we need comes from Him and from His presence in our lives. We make it through every season by holding on to our Father, who is able to do for us whatever we need each and every day. We take life one step at a time, living in the moment whatever season that moment may be trusting and leaning always on our Father in heaven, who makes daily intercession for us. (Romans 8:26). so let us all go gracefully through the seasons of our lives, keeping our eyes and face towards the Maker of heaven and earth. for with Him we make it through. knowing that all is well and all will be well for you and I. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
