
“Today I’m thankful for God’s love over me. Regardless of whether I am good or not, He alone will never love me more than He does right now. Amen.
Today I’m thankful for my family, the family I have been blessed with. God truly knows what He is doing—how to bring the right people together, along with the children He blesses us with along the way. Amen.
Today I’m thankful for this year, for how God kept us and protected us from every harm the enemy intended against us. Habakkuk 2:9. The Lord prevailed over us through all the surgeries, the cancer diagnoses, the tumors, the melanoma—everything. He kept us here, and we are alive and still healing. But Praise the Lord, we are alive. Hallelujah.
Today I’m thankful that even when we face hard times—when work is slow or when you can’t work at all—God is still our provider. He sustained us this past year through all the mess and struggles, and we never went without. Praise the Lord.
Today I’m thankful to have a sound mind, to be able to walk and talk, to have friends, and to have a fantastic church where I can go, get filled up, and worship my God, my Lord, and my Savior, King Jesus. Amen.
Today I’m thankful for our home, for a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, and shoes on our feet. Hallelujah.
Today I’m thankful for the food on our table, and not only for us, but for the ability to share with others. Amen.
Today I’m thankful that I have a job and a great workplace to go to.
Today I’m thankful for the peace that rests over my family and me.
Today I’m thankful for a sound mind, for a heart that loves the Lord, and for eyes that see the needs of others and do their best to meet those needs.
Today I’m thankful for love, mercy, and all of God’s grace that He alone has given and extended to each of us. Amen.
Today I’m thankful that the Lord doesn’t require our perfection to bless us.
Today I’m thankful that I can choose to be powerful or pitiful in my life—but I cannot be both. So I choose to be powerful, for I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13. Amen.
Today I’m thankful that God gives us beauty for ashes, that He truly turns our mourning into dancing. Psalm 30:11–12. That God is for us and with us. Romans 8:31. That He is always working all things for our good, even when we cannot see it. Romans 8:28. Hallelujah.
So today I’m thankful to be alive, to be loved, and to live a well-rounded, peace-filled, joy-filled, blessed life. God has laid His hands upon me and my family, and for that, I am truly, and deeply thankful to my Father in heaven. Amen.
For we are called to give thanks in all things. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Amen.
I pray each of us finds our own reasons to be thankful and grateful, and to recognize just how blessed we truly are. Amen.
