“How many of you know that life is not easy or fair? Amen. Life can be a cruel and cold place, especially for the children of God. Amen. Since becoming a child of God, my life has been filled with struggles and hard times. I have walked through many dark and lonely places on my journey with the Lord, and I have had my heart broken many times along the way. I have lost much in my life, often without explanation. Amen.
I have battled fear and depression, and even now I must stand firm in the Lord, for the enemy never stops fighting us not even for a day. Let us never be deceived into thinking he leaves us alone, for the Bible says he is a deceiver of the brethren and that he comes as an angel of light. Revelation 12:10/ 2 Corinthians 11:14. Amen.
But on this journey with the Lord, I have learned that Christ alone is my everything. I have learned how to pray and truly seek my Father’s face, for He alone is the One who can satisfy and mend every broken place in our souls, our hearts, and our minds. Amen. I have learned that we must daily put on the armor of God and keep it on. Ephesians 6:10-18. Amen. I have learned to seek God, His righteousness, and His face first, before anything else in this life. Amen. I could never make it in this world without Him, for I need Him more than anything, all throughout the day. Amen.
I love the Scripture that says, “For You will light my candle; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.” Psalm 18:28. Amen. Darkness comes quickly at times. The darkness of this world tries to come and take us out. Amen. But it is a wonderful thing to know that we are the apple of God’s eye that we can call on Him anytime, day or night, and He will be there, never leaving us in our hardships or trials. I praise the Lord that He is our shield and our buckler, protecting us from the schemes of the enemy.
This past year, I have felt the heat on my life and my family’s life turned up very hot—and hot indeed. There have been more tears than ever prayed and cried over my family, sometimes coming out of nowhere. It has often felt like the scripture that says the enemy, “as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8. I have fought him fiercely this past year, and he has not seemed to let up. But I know that everything in our lives happens for a reason, and that God is in the midst of us, for He never leaves. Amen.
I also know that when we are tried by fire, the Word says we shall come forth as pure gold. Job 23:10. Nothing in any of our lives is ever wasted. We grow through every season. We change. We mature. We learn. We draw closer to the Lord. At times nothing makes sense, but I have come to say that if you are like us just know that the Lord is in the midst of you. Know that the Lord is faithful, that He hears your cries, and that He answers every time always on time. He is working all things together for our good. Romans 8:28. Even when we cannot see, we must trust and believe the Lord, our Maker and heavenly Father. Amen. King Jesus—praise His name.
So today I pray for strength for each of us. I pray for deliverance and freedom from whatever the situation has been. I pray for peace like a river to flood our hearts and minds. I pray that God’s love would overshadow us in a magnificent way. I pray the Lord speaks to us and quiets us with His goodness and His grace. Amen.
Just know that we are in the middle of a miracle. I truly believe that. I believe God and what He has spoken over my family, and I pray you believe the same for yours. For the Word says, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalm 20:7. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ever ask or think. So let us walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. Let us set our eyes like flint before the Lord. Isaiah 50:7. And let us trust Him always, with our whole lives and our whole being. For He is Lord, He is great, and He alone is greatly to be praised. So let us let go, and let us trust God with it all always and forever. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
