“This morning, as I was reading my Bible, I came to a scripture that I know I’ve read before but today it gave me a wow factor. Amen! I was thinking about our God, King Jesus, and how He reigns. Hallelujah! He is the Maker and Creator of all.

But the scripture said this: “The clouds are the dust of His feet.” — Nahum 1:3

Oh my goodness can you even fathom that? I cannot. That is how huge, mighty, and all-powerful our Father is. Amen!

Of course, I know the Scripture that says “Heaven is God’s throne, and the earth is God’s footstool.” Isaiah 66:1 But to imagine that the clouds are simply the dust of our Father’s feet amazing!

So I just want to encourage us all today: the same God who came and found each of us in our messes… the same One who reached into the middle of it all, called us up out of darkness, and loved us even before we knew Him or even knew His name… that God is for us today. He is with us today. He is able today to do anything and everything for us, His children. Amen!

We are no longer orphans praise the Lord! But we are sons and daughters of the Most High God (Galatians 4:7; 2 Corinthians 6:18). Amen.

Whatever the need, whatever the problem, just know we serve a great, big God. He is the Ruler, and He alone reigns over it all. Amen. And what does reign mean? It means He is King, and He sits on the throne.

Scripture says that the Spirit makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God, and that in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:26–39).

When I think about God and who He is, I can’t help but praise Him for His majesty and His goodness to us, His children. Amen!

I love the song that says:
“The Lord reigns, the Lord reigns, the Lord reigns.
Let the earth rejoice, let the earth rejoice, let the earth rejoice!
Let the people be glad that our God reigns!”

So consider who the Lord is and just how wonderful, huge, and mighty He is that the clouds as I say are merely the dust of His feet. Incredible! Amen.

So have a great day today, and know that God is in control. Even when all seems out of control, just know that it is not. He alone is good, and He alone is working it all out for you and for your good. and He alone will receive all the glory. Amen.

For we serve a great God, and His name is Jesus! So call on Him today, and the Word says He will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not. (Jeremiah 33:3). Amen!”
