“Stuck?”

As I sit here this morning at my computer, I find myself thinking about life in general but also about us, God’s children and how, at times, we can feel stuck in life. Amen. It can seem like we’re just living the same ole routine: the same mindset, the same meals, the same things day in and day out. Amen. We start to feel like we’re not thriving but simply stuck.

But here’s the thing most of the time, it’s not that we’re truly stuck. It’s simply that some of us begin comparing our lives to the lives of others, thinking we’re not measuring up or not where we should be in life. We scroll through social media, watching all the posts and reels as we all do and before long, those images can make us feel like we’re falling behind. We see others being promoted, traveling, eating at nice restaurants, and we begin to think, “Poor little me.” That’s when we start to feel stuck.

But here’s the truth, we all have different lives to live for the Lord. Each of us has a unique role and purpose in this life. And for some, if they would simply change their mindset if they’d take a moment to reflect on their own lives and see all the goodness of God they might realize that the peaceful, simple, quiet life they’re living is actually the life they once prayed for. Amen.

We must also remember that satan comes to deceive the brethren. Revelation 12:9 reminds us that he tries to take our eyes off what God has given us and place them on what we don’t have. He wants us to feel like we’re not achieving much because we lack certain things. But God, our Father, says that when we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our hearts. Psalm 37:4. Amen.

And Proverbs 16:9 tells us that we may make our own plans, but it is the Lord who directs our footsteps. Amen.

So remember this world is not our home, and comparison is a thief. When we fall into comparison, we lose sight of the blessings we already have. We start to feel “stuck” when, in truth, we are simply distracted.

I pray this morning that we all open our eyes wide to see all that God has done for us. Others may seem to have more or move ahead faster and that’s okay! As God’s children, we should celebrate them. Because no one just “makes it” in life; everyone has fought their battles and weathered storms to get where they are.

So don’t lose sight of your life. Keep your eyes on your own path. Stay focused on your goals, your dreams, your family, and your home. Otherwise, you may miss out on the blessings that are already right at your fingertips and right before your own eyes. Amen!

Enjoy the quiet. Enjoy the peace. Enjoy your home and your life. Most of all, enjoy the Lord and all that He is to you. Be thankful for it all because stuck is one thing you are not. Hallelujah!

You, my dear, are blessed and highly favored by our Father. So have a great day in the Lord and a most awesome day in your life, wherever that may be. Enjoy it all and appreciate every single ounce of it. Amen!

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
