“Why do we at times disregard and overlook the nudgings of the Lord when He is speaking to us and correcting us? Somehow, we don’t always choose well, and then we suffer the consequences of our actions all because we simply didn’t do the right thing. Amen.
Choosing the needful things in our lives the things that help us grow and mature, the things that move us out of bondage and into victory is so important. Amen. These are the things that teach us how to prosper in life instead of constantly doing without, simply because we have failed to do what is right. Amen.
Too often, we keep doing the same old things day after day, and then we wonder why we get the same old results. We keep the same old mindset, which can never bring about change or growth in our lives. But when we begin to choose the needful things the good and right things of life we are choosing wisely, and we are growing up. Amen.
As the Bible says, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). This renewal is a daily choice to do what is right, no matter what happens to choose what God asks of us, rather than second-guessing the Lord and what He has spoken. We are constantly in a battle between good and evil, still living in these fleshly bodies, but doing the right thing always comes down to knowing better. Amen.
Deep down in our hearts, we know what is right and what is wrong. We know what God desires from us and how He wants us to live. Yet we sometimes sacrifice the goodness of the Lord for one fleeting moment of sin and pleasure. Amen. That is such a shame, because doing the right thing is always the right thing. Amen.
Integrity is built daily by the choices and decisions we make. Amen. Placing blame or pointing fingers at others is not the answer. Amen.
Here’s the truth: if we want to move forward, to get ahead, and to be blessed abundantly in every area of our lives, then we must place God where He belongs first place. Amen. Above everything else we do. We must walk with Him, listen to Him, and obey Him. Amen.
Don’t be a rebel in life. Don’t be wishy-washy. Don’t be a lukewarm child of God, because if we are, we will never reach our full potential. Amen. Let us instead be on fire for God! Let us do the needful thing, just as Mary did when she sat at the feet of Jesus and found everything she needed there (Luke 10:38–42). Amen.
When we do the same when we sit with Jesus and put Him first we won’t place idols or any graven image above the Lord. We will do what is right, because we hear Him, we listen to Him, and our deepest desire will be to please Him not for show, but for His glory alone. Amen.
How quickly we can turn away from doing right! How easily we overlook the Lord and His ways for our lives! We stray and wander like sheep, choosing the wrong things. But the only way to stay in the pasture is to stay with the Shepherd and Jesus is our Good Shepherd. He knows what we need and when we need it.
More than anything, He desires to see that we are truly living for Him not for our selfish desires, but for Him and Him alone. Amen.
Yes, it’s not always easy especially while we are changing, growing, and letting go of things that no longer help us. But day by day, as we choose the right things and renew our minds, we are changed from glory to glory. Then we begin to thrive. We mature. We grow up. We live a good, wholesome, peaceful life because we have chosen the needful things. We have chosen to do the right things in our lives. so I pray we choose well daily with every step it is that we take pleasing our Father as we journey along together in this beautiful thing that we all call life. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
