“This morning, I woke up around 4 a.m., and when I did, I was really hungry. So, I took myself to the kitchen, started peeling potatoes, made my coffee, put the bacon in the oven, and began cooking breakfast for my family and me. Amen.
As I sat there eating, I thought to myself, Lord, truly, whatever we want in life, we make it happen one way or another. Especially when we’re hungry — we’ll find a way to eat. And as some like to say, we get hangry. Amen.
But the same is true when we are truly hungry and thirsty for the Lord in our lives. We will take the time and make the time to go to Him and eat. Amen. For it says in John 6:51, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” Amen.
Because when we have the Lord and are filled and satisfied by Him, we’re not so quick to scrounge around for the crumbs that have fallen to the floor of life. Instead, we sit at the table, eating the meat of the Word and drinking the wine the body and blood of Christ Jesus that was broken and given for us so that we might live and have an abundant life. (John 6:54–55) Amen.
For we are told, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6) Amen.
So I simply came to say to each of us this: if you’re hungry go eat. When we become truly hungry in our lives tired of being sick and tired of the same ole, same ole that’s when we’ll finally go and eat. Because when you’re hungry, you eat. Amen.
Let us then feast on the everlasting feast of life. Let us be so full that we have no need or desire for any other alternative. With the Lord, we are full, we are satisfied, we are content not looking for another imitation, because we know we already have the real thing. Everything else is just a copy that leaves us empty and dry, always searching for more. Amen.
So let us go and eat. Let us be full and full to overflowing with the Lord Jesus, our living and breathing God, who is alive and very much well and at work in each of our lives. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
