“Discipline!”

“Discipline is defined as the practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behavior. It is of the utmost importance in gaining self-control. Amen!

I am writing today about discipline because it is the gateway to victory. Through discipline, we can obtain victory over the things we desire to overcome in our lives. Amen. Isn’t it amazing how God will bring correction and begin to deal with us about certain things we already know we need to hear, follow, and obey? When He speaks to us, He calls us to be obedient and disciplined to follow through with whatever it is He’s asking us to do. Amen.

The Bible tells us that “whom the Lord loves, He corrects” (Proverbs 3:11–12; Hebrews 12:6). God’s correction is not punishment but love it’s His way of shaping us. His correction leads us to be zealous and to repent, just as it says in Revelation 3:19. Amen.

Through discipline, we achieve goals, gain structure, and obtain strength, knowledge, and wisdom all in which are wonderful gifts from the Lord. When we choose to be disciplined, we grow. Amen. We mature beautifully in Christ, and that growth is how we move forward in our lives.

However, when we fail to follow through with the things the Lord is dealing with us about, we stay the same. Day after day, week after week, month after month and before we know it, a year has passed, and nothing has changed. Amen. We continue to battle the same ole struggles and face the same ole challenges.

So today, I simply want to say this: God speaks to His children. He nudges, corrects, and guides us. But we have a choice to listen and obey, or to turn a deaf ear and justify our disobedience. If we truly want to grow and mature in our walk with the Lord, we must receive His correction and become disciplined to follow through with whatever changes He is calling us to make.

Then, a year from now, we will look back and see the evidence of that correction the fruit of our obedience and the growth that came from our discipline. We will see that we have not stayed the same, praying the same ole prayers and crying over the same ole struggles, but that we have changed and grown tremendously in Christ, doing good and great work for Him and His Kingdom. Amen.

To be better, we must choose to do better to become disciplined and corrected people who walk in obedience, rather than disobedience and or mischief. So let us choose discipline and let us choose to grow up in the Lord. Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
