“Solution!”

One of my dearest and sweetest friends — I often tell her that she may be little, but she is incredibly strong and fierce. To look at her, you might think she is frail, but within her is the heart of a mighty warrior. Amen! It’s truly amazing how much strength she carries and how she overcomes every obstacle that has ever come her way.

So I want to share a bit of her wisdom and how she says she gets through life. She tells me, “Sure, I could cry and complain like many others do. But I know that if I do, things will only get worse and go downhill from there.” She says, “I have learned—and have always been the kind of person—to focus on finding the solution instead of dwelling on the problem.”

I absolutely love that about her, because she is wise indeed. That is exactly what God’s Word teaches us. That is precisely what our Heavenly Father tells us to do. The Bible says that we should come boldly to His throne of grace to find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). And if we lack wisdom, we are to ask God, who gives generously to all who seek it (James 1:5).

We can be confident in this: that God, who began a good work in us, will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). In 1 Peter, we are reminded to greatly rejoice, even though we may be facing trials. For the testing of our faith is more precious than gold. Though we are tried by fire, we will be found to result in praise, honor, and glory at the appearing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:6–7). Hallelujah!

So this morning, I want to encourage us all: do not focus on the problem that may be testing you right now. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith — who, for the joy set before Him, endured the cross, despised the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him and all the opposition He endured from sinners, so that you and I would not grow weary or lose heart (Hebrews 12:2–3). Amen!

Let us keep our hearts turned toward the Lord today and every day that follows. Let us help ourselves by seeking solutions rather than complaining, blaming, or feeling sorry for ourselves — because in doing so, we only hurt ourselves. But when we look for the good and focus on finding solutions, we win! Hallelujah! We will move forward, gain strength, mature, and live a joyful, fulfilled life. Amen!

Complaining will get us nowhere in life, but seeking a solution gives us hope — something to work toward, a goal to reach for. Amen!

Let us not forget the scripture in Habakkuk 2:2: “Write down the vision; make it plain upon tablets, so that he may run who reads it.” Amen!

So focus on the goal. Focus on the solution. Focus on the life and the victory that are waiting for you. Amen!

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
