“The cycle of the blame game has been there since the very beginning. We can go all the way back to the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:12–19). Amen. Even today, in our own lives—whether we realize it or not—we often do the same thing. We begin to point fingers at everyone around us. Amen. We start to justify the way we live, the way we are, and how we act toward others. Amen. Instead of truly accepting responsibility and seeking to change ourselves, we shift the blame. Amen.
But hear this: we are NOT bound by what has happened to us or what has been spoken over us. We are free in the Lord! Now, that freedom is not always easy to walk in—it takes courage and commitment to begin the process of change. But here’s the key: if we continue to blame others, we are actually giving away our power to change. Amen.
Why? Because blaming keeps us stuck in the same mindset we’ve had for years. Amen. But Christ Jesus came and died so that we could be free in Him and live this life well. He has given us wisdom and all authority over the enemy of our souls.
But when we keep handing the keys back over to the enemy—by believing his lies and dwelling on the deceit that has been done to us—we remain bound, even though we are children of God. Amen.
I once heard a pastor say: “You are not bound by what others have said or done to you—because the Lord is the One who speaks over you and gives you life. He lives in you!” Amen.
So we must be careful with our words—what we say, and even more so, what we hear. Because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Amen.
And faith—our faith—is what moves the mountains in our lives. It is everything to us as God’s children. For He says, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move” (Matthew 17:20). Hallelujah!
So again, this morning, let us rise up and begin walking in the truth of God’s Word. Let us believe what He says about us. Let us rise up and become all that the Lord has created us to be in Him. And how do we do that?
We do that by accepting responsibility for change.
We do that by refusing to point fingers.
We stop playing the blame game.
We stand firm on Christ, our solid rock.
We speak His life and His truth over ourselves—over our minds, our hearts, and everything we do and say.
Because true freedom comes when we accept it, love ourselves, and allow ourselves to live a beautiful, faith-filled life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
I love that song that says:
“Whose report will you believe?
We shall believe the report of the Lord.
His report says I am healed.
His report says I am free.
His report says victory!”
So again—whose report will you believe?
We shall believe the report of the Lord. Hallelujah!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
