“This has always been said, and that is this: God is not going to do for you what you can do for yourself. Amen. In other words, faith without works is dead.
We simply can’t pray and ask God to fix everything, yet fail to put our hands to the plow, so to speak. It takes action on our part—works—to get things done and accomplished. Amen.
We can’t remain stuck in the same old routine, doing the same things day in and day out, and still expect things to magically change. We say, “Tomorrow will be better… maybe next week… maybe next month… maybe when this or that happens.” Amen. But what do we do in the meantime? We sit around wishing.
And how many of you know that wishing gets us nowhere? We can sit and wish all day long, but at the end of the day, we still have to get up and move—we must go in the direction of the goal, of the plan. Amen.
With every act of faith on our part, God steps in and does the miraculous. And somehow, in our doing, the other things begin to fall right into place—because God helps us along the way. Amen.
But if we do nothing, then guess what? Nothing happens. Nothing changes. Everything stays the same. Amen.
So again—write your plans. Make your plans. Follow through with your plans. Don’t get distracted by the distractions of life, of people, of things, or any of the above. You must stay the course and stay on the path. Amen. And when you do, things will fall into place, because it is God’s good pleasure to give us good things.
But we still have to put feet to it. We still have to get up and go—daily. Get up, get moving, and get busy. Don’t become stale like a reservoir storing yesterday’s manna. Don’t store up stagnant water by refusing to use the gifts God has given you today. Amen.
So, let us trust the Father. Let us help ourselves—yes, help ourselves to be strong and courageous, to grow and change from glory to glory, to have our minds renewed by the daily choices we make. Amen.
Everything we do matters—and it matters greatly—because we are all in a battle, daily. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness in this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12) Amen.
The Lord tells us to put on the full armor of God so we can stand against the enemy, quenching all the fiery darts of the wicked one. We fight with peace and with the Word of God. Never forget, we are ambassadors for Christ Jesus our Lord. (Ephesians 6:10–20) Praise the Lord.
Yes, the battle will come—but we know how to fight. We fight in prayer, in our prayer closets, and by God’s strength. And we do something—we never just fold our hands and do nothing. Amen.
Because that’s what the enemy wants. The Word of God says:
“A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep—so shall poverty come upon you like a thief…”
(Proverbs 6:10–11)
So again, stay the course. Stay focused on the goal—whatever that may be for you. Each of us has different dreams, goals, and desires in life. Whatever yours looks like, keep it in front of your face. Stay prayed up, stay filled up, and keep moving forward.
Don’t just sit and wish it into existence—because that’s not going to happen. Not for any of us.
So get up. Get moving. Get going.
And when we do what we can, the Lord our God steps in and does what we can’t.
Praise the Lord, for He is faithful and true to you and me. So don’t let this day pass you by without doing something—something that moves you, even just a little, toward your goals. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
