“Yesterday, when I visited my in‑laws, my mother‑in‑law and I were reflecting. We marveled at how perfectly God has placed the pieces of life in their proper places over these past few months. Even amidst chaos, He is there, guiding, arranging, and working everything together wonderfully beyond what we could see.
Looking back, I can see many times when one day I was headed in one direction and the very next day I found myself completely somewhere else. Amazingly, the Lord changes things in my life quickly and without most of the time even noticing.
Sometimes we think we are in control of our lives — but the truth is, we’re not. The Lord is. It says in Proverbs 16:9, “A person’s heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.” That doesn’t mean we have no choices. We absolutely have free will. But if we truly follow the Lord — if we want to walk in the places He desires — then we must listen and obey Him, whatever He may ask of us.
We can try to do things our way, but more often than not when we step in on our own, we mess things up. When we pray, believe, and yield to the Lord, He directs our footsteps. He works things out for our good — Romans 8:28 is true.
Even before we were formed in our mother’s womb, the Lord saw us. He had every day of our lives written down in His book, even before any of them occurred — Psalm 139:16 reminds us of that. Praise the Lord.
Yes, we will face rough days, but those are the days in which we grow. We learn in them. After all, this world is not our home. Our days are already numbered, already written — and what He has written is a beautiful story prepared for you and me.
So today, trust God’s hand over your life. Trust that He is ordering your steps, and that where you are right now is exactly where He wants you to be in this moment. Let go of what you want, or what you think you need, and instead pray, trust, and lean into God’s plan. Live by faith. Be satisfied with what you have, and trust Him for what you need.
God is God. He never changes. His love for us is unlike any other. Even in our messes, He doesn’t give up — He keeps lifting us up, guiding us, moving us forward. Let’s get out of the way. Let’s reach for His hand and let Him lead us into the life He alone has planned for us. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
