Mistakes are a given. The past is not erasable. But the present—right now in our lives—is everything. It is the beginning of the future we want to build. Amen.
If we live in yesterday and dwell on our mistakes, we will remain stuck. And you know what else? We’ll stay defeated foes in the direction of our lives.
I was reminded today of 1 Peter 5:8. The Lord Jesus tells us: “Be sober‑minded; be watchful; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
To be sober means to stay clear‑headed. Amen. And vigilant means to be very watchful over possible dangers and difficulties. Amen.
For many of us know that we have an adversary. His purpose is to take us out. Amen. To literally rip away the very life Jesus died so that we could live. Amen. For He came to give us a life—life in abundance. But that old devil came to kill, steal, and destroy. John 10:10.
And again, how many of you know that it doesn’t start all at once? It starts with every single temptation. Amen. Every compromise. Amen. Every time we take the Lord off of His rightful place in our lives—which is first place, always.
Then our vision gets cloudy. We begin compromising our beliefs and what we stand for. We overlook the things that we know in our lives need to change, yet we cling to misery. Amen. All the while disobedient to the Lord and His calling and His will for our lives.
And in that process, we lose our lives. We lose ourselves. We lose the mission God has ordained for each of us. Amen.
So this day, I want to say to us all: let him who stole, steal no more. Ephesians 4:28. Amen. I want all of us to reach down into the place of Ziklag, if you will—just as David did. Hallelujah—and take back everything the enemy has stolen from you and from me. Praise the Lord. (1 Samuel 30)
God’s life is infinitely better than anything this old world can offer or give to us. Amen.
So I want us all to keep God very close—so close in our lives. If we are pleasing anyone in our lives, I pray it is the Lord we seek to please. That He takes the front‑row seat in our lives, in our choices, in our decisions. And that no compromise comes our way—only those things that please the Lord Jesus. Amen.
For again, I pray we never forget: this life has nothing to do with you and me—it truly has everything to do with the Lord and His will and desire for our lives; with what we are doing; how we are living. Simply put, it all falls upon us—how obedient we ourselves choose to be to the Lord. Amen.
So I pray for each of us this day: that we all choose the Lord first, always the first. That we do not let the enemy steal our lives, our calling, our anointing—not anything whatsoever from us. But that our lives will be so full of the Lord, so full of His grace and mercy, that it becomes evident everywhere we go—in everything we do and say—that we are living testimonies of the Lord and just how good He alone is.
So let us be sober. And let us stay vigilant. For the King of kings and the Lord of lords—Jesus Christ—is His name. Amen.
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
