This morning felt like I was truly on the struggle bus—just trying my best to get going and moving. But finally, I encouraged myself to get out of bed. Amen! I took a shower, started some coffee, and made myself get busy with the things that needed to be done.
I always remember that little saying: “No matter how you feel—get up, dress up, show up, but never give up.” Amen.
How many of you know that the hardest part sometimes is simply showing up? But it’s also the first and most important part. In other words, don’t let this day that God our Father has given us pass you by—just because of your feelings. Hallelujah!
Because that ole evil one can quickly get you all caught up in your emotions and feelings. And before you know it, you’re sitting in a place of self-pity, wrapped in sackcloth and ashes, if you will. But if we come to ourselves, and take a real look at life and what today has to offer, the rest just begins to fall by the wayside.
This side of Heaven, life isn’t perfect. We’re not perfect. And things will happen. Praise the Lord! But when we decide to get up and show up—not only for ourselves but for our families and for our Lord—then life becomes a much better place.
When we take our eyes off ourselves and place them on someone else, life begins to look beautiful—and becomes beautiful not just for us, but for those around us. Again, it’s not perfect. We’re not perfect. But we are blessed, we are chosen, and we are forgiven. And more than anything, God has given us this day. Amen!
What we choose to do with it is up to us. Hopefully, each of us is choosing to get up and show up. Amen.
For the Lord says, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24. Amen!
He came so that we would have life—and have it more abundantly. — John 10:10. Praise the Lord!
Only we can choose what kind of day we’re going to have. I pray that each of us has the most amazing, wonderful, joy-filled day ever. I pray that God fills each of us to overflowing with everything we need today. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
