“Stop Complaining!”

Isn’t it something…
The very things we often complain about—if they were taken from us—would suddenly become the very things we’d desire more than anything else in life. Amen.

It’s truly something how we live in a generation where complaining has become the norm. From the moment we get up in the morning, many of us begin complaining. Amen.

Some might say, “Well, Mandi, I don’t complain. I’m a thankful person.”
And I’d say, “I think somewhere along the way, you might still complain.”

We complain about traffic.
We complain when we go out to eat—the food isn’t hot enough, the bread isn’t toasted enough, the meat isn’t cooked just right, the salad isn’t fresh. We offer unsolicited suggestions about how things could have or should have been done differently.

We complain about our homes and all the things that need to be done.
We complain about ourselves—our bodies, our appearance. Amen.
We complain about our pets, our yards, our jobs.
We complain about our friendships, our families, our churches, our teachers, our leaders.

Come on, ya’ll—we complain so much, it’s honestly awful to say the least.
And somehow, we’ve gotten to this place of constant complaining, maybe without even realizing it.

Because how many of you know—we don’t often see ourselves the way others do?
We can quickly recognize other people’s faults and failures, but somehow we overlook our own. We don’t like to see our own shortcomings. Amen.

But I believe God is surely not pleased with all this complaining, especially when He gives each of us so much to be thankful for every single day. Amen.

It reminds me of a bunch of spoiled children. As a parent, when you give your all to your child and they still complain, it dampens your spirit. Amen.
So I can imagine the Lord looking at us thinking, “Oh my goodness… look at my spoiled children.” Amen.

We are called to represent the Lord in our lives—in the way we live, the way we talk, the way we act, and the way we treat people.
Never forget: sometimes, the only Bible others will ever read is you and me. Amen.

People are watching the lives we live.
They’re listening to the words we say.
They’re noticing the way we are.

Because how many of you know—people want the real deal in life. They don’t want a knock-off version of faith. Amen.

So I pray that each of us takes a moment to look at ourselves—to really see how we speak to others, and how we speak to ourselves—especially when it comes to complaining.

Because here’s the truth: complaining wears you out.
It doesn’t lift us up or help us in any way—it literally drains us. And it does so quickly. Amen.

But the Scriptures remind us of something powerful:

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my Strength and my Redeemer.”
Psalm 19:14

“Give thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Ephesians 5:20

“We are bound to give thanks always to God.”
2 Thessalonians 2:13

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
Colossians 3:17

And let us never forget:

“You turned my mourning into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, so that my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.”
Psalm 30:11–12

Hallelujah!

So here is my prayer for us all today:
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord and give Him thanks for everything—for all He has done and all He is still going to do. Amen.

Let us choose thankfulness over complaining.
We are blessed and highly favored by our Father in heaven. Amen.

Let’s love Him with thankful hearts.
Let’s represent Him well—in our speech, in our actions, and in the lives we choose to live.

Let’s be real. Let’s be grateful. Let’s be His. Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
