“Encourage Yourself!”

“Sometimes in life, you must be the one to encourage yourself in the Lord. Amen. Sometimes, you need to be your own biggest fan—because often it’s ourselves who hold us back from achieving the great things we long for. Amen. Sometimes, we stop ourselves before we even get started.

As the Bible declares in 1 Samuel 30:6, “David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” In times of uncertainty and inner struggle, we are called to seek strength and renewal in the Lord continually (see also 1 Chronicles 16:11).

When our thoughts weaken us—when we dwell on fear, doubt, or past mistakes—we begin to feel insignificant, as though we may never reach the place we believe God has called us to. Scripture reminds us that life is but a vapor (James 4:14) and that our true reality is shaped by our mindset. “For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7).

So be your own biggest fan. Speak kindly to yourself. Don’t diminish who you are or your blessed life. Stop second-guessing your decisions. Instead, recognize the good you are doing each day. Shake off the doubt, the fear, the unbelief, the past, the unknown. Live fully in this moment—because this moment is your life, and it’s yours to make beautiful.

Choose to look for the good. See the good. Keep your eyes and heart open to the blessings right before you. Be grateful for every bit of who you are. Love yourself a little more than you do right now—for you’ll be with yourself everywhere in life. If we aren’t kind to ourselves, we’re unlikely to lead a happy, fulfilled life.

Be the best version of you that you can. Renew your mind (Romans 12:2). Speak to yourself through songs and hymns—“singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:19). Be good to you. Always encourage yourself. Give the enemy nothing of who you are.

You, my friend, are a child of God—and He loves you with an everlasting love. There is no love like the Lord’s. Our minds can’t fathom how deep or wide it is (Ephesians 3:18–21). I pray that today you are surrounded by peace, filled with love, and walking in a mindset that encourages you. May you see the good in all things, and help yourself by helping yourself. Amen!”

“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
