“For the most part, the answer to all of life’s questions comes down to one simple thing: our obedience to God. Amen. Without obedience, life can and will become difficult—because God, in His love, brings correction to His children, just as we correct our own children. Why? Because we only want what’s best for them in their lives. And it’s the same with the Lord toward us.
Through our obedience to Him, blessings follow. Amen. God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34); if He blesses one, He can and will bless another. The struggles we face are never wasted—they have purpose. They grow us, shape us, and often redirect our path when we’re headed in the wrong direction.
As the Bible says in Matthew 7:13–14:
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Amen.
Obedience brings with it not only God’s correction but also the fullness of who He is to us—His love, His protection, His provision, and His purpose.
As it says in Deuteronomy 28:2–13:
“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.
And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.
And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them.”
I know that’s a lot of Scripture to take in, but it is the Word of God. And the Word is what lights our path and guides our feet (Psalm 119:105). Praise the Lord!
God’s Word is our life. Amen. It is sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and when it is sent forth, it will accomplish what it was sent to do—it will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
So let us read the Word. Let us get in the Word, because the Word gets into us—and it changes us from glory to glory. It reveals truth to us, and more than anything, it brings life—because the Word is God. Amen.
Let us be obedient to God in all things—whatever that obedience looks like for you and for me. We each have a different path to walk. We each have a unique calling. So follow the Lord wherever that calling may lead, with obedience and love toward Him—always seeking to please that audience of One, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
