The greatest victory I truly believe in is the triumph of our attitude.
It’s so easy to stay positive and upbeat when everything is going well and going our way—when life is marching in rhythm with our expectations. But what happens when life begins to unravel? When unexpected “extras” enter the music of your life, and things don’t go as planned—when everything changes, and somehow, you must change with it.
That’s the hard part. In those moments, our attitude determines our path forward. We are creatures of habit; we crave routines and harmony. But when life shifts, the real you shines through—just as that song says, “I see your true colors shining through.” In those times of adjustment, your mind reels, longing for the old normal, resisting change, and overwhelmed by the many little tasks that demand your attention. Yet, this is when your attitude can lift you to the mountaintop—or plunge you into the deepest valley, if you let it. It’s a struggle, a battle, because you’re angry, upset, overextended, physically present but spiritually torn between flesh and spirit.
The Bible speaks powerfully to this:
- “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; think on these things.” – Philippians 4:8–9
- “Do all things without murmurings and disputings, that you may be blameless and harmless… among whom you shine as lights in the world.” – Philippians 2:14–15
- “And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father.” – Colossians 3:17
- “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips giving thanks.” – Hebrews 13:5–15 (Hebrews 13:15)
- “A merry heart does good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.” – Proverbs 17:22
Praise the Lord!
So today, in this very moment, I pray for every one of us in need of a miracle. For a blessing to overtake you. I pray for deliverance, freedom from torment, and relief from pain. But above all, I pray that our attitudes be replaced with abundant happiness, peace, comfort, gladness, and unspeakable joy—overflowing with God’s glory and overshadowing every one of us this day, in the name above every name: Jesus. Amen!”
“For it is in His name, Jesus’ name, that I do ask and pray..Amen and Amen..Be blessed today my dear sweet friends and remember wherever you go and whatever you do, Be a light for our Father, Much love to you all, Mandi ❤️
